Editing IR Remote codes
Hi,
I've got a Sony RM-ED008 remote. Homey doesn't recognise it but selecting one of the other Sony remotes seems to give me some of the buttons. I can then add the remaining buttons.
But when I try and use the buttons in a flow I get a message saying ' invalid pulse data length should be odd'.
I'm assuming the buttons weren't detected correctly - is there some way to edit them?
Also I know that it's possible to send codes that the TV understands but the remote can't send.
For instance a Power On and a Power Off signal rather than a Power toggle - is there any way to add these?

We've also started with the Infrared rewrite. The software will be a lot better. Not only the interface, but also performance wise. The signals that Homey is currently emitting are not always optimized, let's say they're with an 'accent', so hard to decode by some devices. The new interface will also include the possibility of pasting Pronto HEX codes per key, and much better button learning. We've kind of underestimated how hard Infrared was, but now we're on top of it!
So it will be possible in the future......
