Voice Speed

I've upgraded to 0.8.34 and now I see a scroll bar with for the voice speed. When I try to move this and test it the same speed stays.
Is this a known issue?

    @btwvince I did not try dutch voices, but in english the voice speed works great!

    I have Dutch Ruben with speed "Slow" and it works perfect! Very happy with this setting.  
    I would suggest to do a powercycle

    If i change the speed Homey starts saying something in English but still at the same speed
