KaKu / CoCu ACD-1000 (switch) and ACD-300 (dimmer)

Not able to pair the ACD-300 (dimmer) TUYCR-301 using the 'dimmer option'.
Not able to pair the ACD-1000 (switch) TUYCR-1001 using the 'switch option'.
Able to pair the ACD-1000 (switch) TUYCR-1001 using the 'old switch option'.

Any suggestions for, what I think is the, old dimmer than?
