There is a new AI kickstarter project called SmartAll:

It looks like it could be a cool addition to Homey. What are your thoughts on it?

    Looks more like competition then a companion addition. :)

    Looks interesting. And yeah, there definitely is some overlap in functionality...
    I have my doubts about that AI part, though... a device that thinks/acts for itself based on what it thinks it has learned? I can definitely foresee problems there...

    And why is this in "Ideas & Suggestions"? So that Athom can gather ideas from this project and copy functionality?

    Didn't know where to put it. Changed it to "General". 

    The SmartAll's facial recognition did lool useful. If it works as shown. Are there other options/devices to use such a feature in combination with homey?

    facial recognition, looks indeed very cool (if it works) but i don't like camera's in my house. - Something with hacking -... you never know.    :/

    And according to the FAQ, it can only learn/recognize 5 faces... even less (max 2) if they're together. Not very much at all.
