First update stuck??

Got my Homey yesterday, at first some problems connection to WiFi. Now it had been updating for a full day, is this normal?

  • I had this very same issue until I switched off "Station isolation" on my wifi network. This way, wireless stations can connect to each other (so your laptop/phone can reach Homey).
  • Hi Olaf, thnx for your quick reply. I already connected my homey to WiFi, the problem is that is has been updating for a full day now, the purple led ring keeps spinning. I doubt updating takes this long.

    keep youre homey upside down until it counts down from 10 to 0
    then place it bak on the table...

  • I unplugged Homey, waited a while and turned it back on. Seems to have worked. It boots and I can get to the interface via my.athom.com. However the android app does not recognize the device and I seem to be unable to install apps on homey (get message "an error occured" which is most helpfull :tongue: )
  • Advice is to use a Windows PC with Chrome. Other appliances may work, but I have No problems yet with installing app's Good Luck 
  • Yes, I can connect from Chrome on Windows, hoped the android app would also work since it is already available. 
  • It does work for me. Did you use the exact same mailadres (so no playing with dots and capitals)?
