First update stuck??

Got my Homey yesterday, at first some problems connection to WiFi. Now it had been updating for a full day, is this normal?

    I had this very same issue until I switched off "Station isolation" on my wifi network. This way, wireless stations can connect to each other (so your laptop/phone can reach Homey).

    Hi Olaf, thnx for your quick reply. I already connected my homey to WiFi, the problem is that is has been updating for a full day now, the purple led ring keeps spinning. I doubt updating takes this long.

    keep youre homey upside down until it counts down from 10 to 0
    then place it bak on the table...

    I unplugged Homey, waited a while and turned it back on. Seems to have worked. It boots and I can get to the interface via my.athom.com. However the android app does not recognize the device and I seem to be unable to install apps on homey (get message "an error occured" which is most helpfull :tongue: )

    Advice is to use a Windows PC with Chrome. Other appliances may work, but I have No problems yet with installing app's Good Luck

    Yes, I can connect from Chrome on Windows, hoped the android app would also work since it is already available.

    It does work for me. Did you use the exact same mailadres (so no playing with dots and capitals)?
