How to manually upgrade the Homey?
I might have missed this topic, but searching for 'firmware' shows too many posts about the 8.27 update I want to install, but no link anywhere on how to *force* an update to this firmware.
I also do not see an 'update firmware' on the my.homey webserver. It keeps stating I have 1.8.17 without a way to update. I've been waiting for an hour for it to update itself. (Naturally the
Is this functionality to manually up- and downgrade planned? And where can we download the 1.8.27 firmware?
As I could never get Homey to work or respond to the 'Ok Homey' command, I put it back in its box until a suitable update shows up, which appears to be now.
( Naturally the 'download automatically' and 'subscribe to experimental updates' are enabled )

Emile also suggested to do reset without wipe, and update when selecting wifi.
At worst, you can also restore firmware https://forum.athom.com/discussion/696/help-my-homey-does-not-boot-after-an-update/p1
with respect to your setting you always should have been updated to 0.8.20 and if you selected "Subscribe to experimental updates." before (not just selected it "today" ) regarding https://firmware.athom.com/ you should have been on 0.8.24 since about 16 march.
I guess something is broken in your Homey or internet connection (some DNS / HTTP request hat Homey cant make to get the update.)
I de-selected the auto update as I want control on updating, but on first signal on the forum there is an update I select Automatic, click on system, click back on Updates and refresh, and de-select the auto update.
Every time I direct get the notice there is an update and click on update..... (I cant wait....)
if you don't get an update create an Issue on github if you can reproduce it.
or try contacting support by email (look in the first post -help announcement)
imho Auto updating should work flawlessly, so if that doesn't work ask Athom support for help. I think they are also interested why it doesn't work for you.
I can connect to my Homey through http://my.athom.com/#/, so the network works.
Thanks Geurt for your update : When I deselected automatic updates this afternoon I did not get a manual update button: the area below "Back to safety" was white. But when I tried it now the complete list of firmware updates is shown and I can manually update.
It is now installing 0.8.27 Hurray!
