Homey firmware 0.8.34 with Android App 2.0 build 40: no devices in any of the rooms.
-
Can't test it. App doesn't seem to work (get a GUID on my screen / no devices) and storing the date/time in a new betterlogic var is also not an option because betterlogic isn't working on 0.8.34 (cannot save new variables). Anybody an idea?
-
No push message this morning . State of this issue seems to be the same as 0.8.32 (not fixed). I thought it was fixed because it was mentioned on Slack (https://forum.athom.com/discussion/comment/21722/#Comment_21722).

Just got the Push message Sunset
-
I did change the trigger card (saw that begin / end was removed). Let's test it together in a couple of hours

Have 0.8.34 since yesterday, rebooted couple of times. Sunrise and sunset still not working. Does it work on your device with 0.8.34?

@markmg I also want to buy a Z-wave Fibaro motion sensor (FGMS-01) but have put it on hold. Reason for my hold is that I read a lot of information on this forum which states; * Z-Wave isn't stable enough yet https://github.com/athombv/homey/issue…

@Taxandria the image looks like it but unfortunately the Chacon doorbell doesn't work with the Action nor Alecto App . Thanks for the tip though!

@jjtbsomhorst Speaking to my phone from several meters away doesn't work. That doesn't bother me. When using my phone it's always within arm range. The Use Case of the Homey is a different one. I don't carry my Homey with me so that device should …

I thought somewhere down the road @Emile mentioned 433-tooling for developing Apps. I don't know if it was on this forum, on Slack or Trello. Can't seem to find it anymore. Anyhow, adding such tools for making brand specific Apps solves my problem…

I'm also experiencing a very, very bad speech recognition in English as well as in Dutch. My experience is that it only works when pronunciation, volume and distance to Homey are in perfect conditions for Homey and that's not human-friendly. Google…

You guys did the voice trigger training in the settings? Seems to make it worse. I did a full reset after training and lots of false triggers. Without training it works great now.
-
Sounds good, what make/model is it? I'll buy one for my own
-
As you can see the PIR-2050 isn't supported (yet) by the KlikAanKlikUit App. https://apps.athom.com/app/nl.klikaanklikuit Think you should ask the developer of this App.
-
Did you train the 'Ok Homey'-trigger? My experience is that with the training Homey triggers a lot (from music, from TV, from me saying total different things than 'OK HOMEY') when it shouldn't happen! I did a full reset and without the training my …

Very nice addition. Last approach sounds good!

I'm also using some KaKu sockets a couple of meters further away in my garden and they work. Maybe because these are powered instead of battery usage. @caseda Would you be so kind to let me know if the extender works?
-
I also experienced voice recognition problems with v0.8.30. I had a bling sound via the soundboard App when Homey started listening. Removing this gave better results in recognition. English works sometimes, Dutch isn't working right. A reboot / re…

Nice @Emile. Gues I'll put my time in another App then to compensate .

I was planning on developing the App for MOVE back in januari. Since it takes a lot of time before my Homey will be delivered still haven't started. Next to this I'm curious how bluetooth will work from a developer perspective. Haven't seen any docu…

Thank you for the reply @caseda. Q1 The use of the 'Simple HTTP' App should work for me as a tech-man. It would be better for normal consumers to do so via the Hue App. @Emile, is there a place where I can post feature requests for the Hue App? Q2…

Maybe MOVE by Teptron is an option? https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/move-motorize-blinds-and-shades# I'm planning on making an App for it, after I received my Homey.

LOL, no promises yet, but I'll do my best to achieve the goal; control MOVE's with Homey

As a home automation beginner (I bought the HUE starter kit + 2 HUE spots earlier and was looking at Samsung SmartThings) and development professional I'm very interested in the concept of Homey. Bought a Move yesterday on Indigogo. Today I ordere…
