@steinis Pfff...tough one. Need to think about whats possible there...
-
Flic - Since they smell nice <--- would be a better imho. But.. Bluetooth is partially activated on Homey, but in beta and missing a few functions. I have tried to add flic buttons support in the past (created an app, paired them) but couldn't …

Huhm...i guess you are better off using the built-in alarm function then. Not sure if you can set this by voice yet tho... Otherwise you would need a flow that triggers on certain words (set wake-up variable for example) then substract the time (7:0…

Great! Currently running a few tests to see if its possible to run homeydash as a native app. I am not promising anything tho...

@JanH cloud id url is a bit different: https://YOURCLOUDID.homey.athom.com if i am not mistaken
-
@DaneeDeKruyff might be a Bette idea after i launches the current version as beta
-
Somewhere in this topic (one of the 40 pages) has a solution. can't remember exactly. But it was something like using the cloudurl or logging in to the cloudurl firt before the local url worked. (I even think it is on the settingspage from the beta)

An important part of my automation is getting notified that i left some lights or devices on. Then Homey asks to turn them off. Other then that i use a motion sensor in the kitchen (open kitchen) where when its dark outside the lights are on but di…

You are right about the limitation in commands. I asked Emile directly after they released the skill, to quote his answer "Alexa home-automation skills suck" (or something like that) I guess he was kinda right, Alexa still only has support for ligh…

Maybe a bit to early...but couldn't resist. Keep in mind things can still change a bit, but here some sneak peeks from the current UI
-
By creating a bit flip device combined with a flow that triggers on changing a var

Good point! Just DM me there. (Same nickname on the Athom slack) or shout “kibbeling” in the #general channel. (https://slack.athom.com/)
-
@joeybrooks Well, started some very early alpha testing already. This means not much functionality, but will get added slowly. For anyone that is interested, you can contact me on Slack

@Leeuw1960 Has to do with safari. It's a known issue, but won't be fixed anymore. The new version of homeydash is allmost released to some early alpha testers, and is a complete rewrite.
-
@daesland This requires extra middleware but works as a charm here: https://forum.athom.com/discussion/3031/advanced-link-ha-bridge-to-homey
-
In theory yes, didn't run homebridge yet but should be possible. Downside is, this would never be possible as a homey app. You need to add or remove plugins and the config. Wouldn't mind helping you with homebridge tho, you can find the working (mo…

I actually managed to compile hap-nodejs with some changes to work on Homey. This is the same library as used in homebridge, openhab and other projects. (In theory i could run homebridge now on Homey ) Going to run some tests with that (performanc…

Waarbij je niet verder kan nesten tot 2 zones diep geloof ik... zit je weer met dat probleem
-
Waarbij je overigens binnen HomeKit ook kan groupen!

Decided to publish the current beta as stable to the appstore. This means everyone still on beta will get the window blinds in there that has dim support. Couldn't test this device myself, so i could made errors
-
The current published version should fix all the crashes, and might be a candidate for stable. If anyone still is having issues, let me know. Currently adding some new capabilities, but need some users who would like to test before publishing it as…

@hnijveen It's totally up to Sprut, he actually HAD a few options: 1. Change the PR. I am still confident i made the right choice. You don't want to confuse people to be able to add devices that aren't supported. It's a waste of resources as well. …

@TonD83 Emile asked me if i want to continue development. So i will.
-
Of probeer eens in settings->z-wave eerst het apparaat te verwijderen.
-
@neil_holloway Hi Neil, The background should still work, even in the beta. Maybe switch it within the Homey Settings (you can chose one there) will fix this. Indeed combined with some flows HomeyDash can control allmost everything. Out of the bo…

kinda curious how the presence actually works and how it knows the difference between certain users.
-
For everyone who didn't understand the above: A few weeks ago Sprut found my homekit app and did a PR. He did a rewrite of the functions that actually add the devices to homekit, and changed the way how the app would behave in general. He actually …

I think you Could use the better logic numslide for that one
-
You should ask Athom Main reason, i couldn't agree with a PR on how the other homekit works. You can add literaly any device even if it not works (and it just shows in homekit unsupported) but it keeps a secure TCP connection open for it.
