The current pricepoint is great. The software is something that should be "finished" as soon as homey reaches the shelves, it should at least be capable of doing all that is advertised on the website\box. There is a great difference between our e…

@Emile is connecting to remote storage (nfs/smb) something homey can do? Or can I create an SSH connection between homey and another device? Thinking about having a go in making a simple monitoring app for my ZFS pool (health and free space) sitting…

@Mikeone i kind of suck at programming . But if you ever need a certain feature tested you can give me a pm.. running a plex server in a jail of a bsd (freenas) box. might be a different config than most people.

Thuis just occured to me.. the serial numbers on the first batch must be awesome.

@marcoF i just bought the components online and used the mysensor software to get it running. It is running on the 2,4 ghz band now using a mysensor gateway (allong with a few other homemade sensors). But i expect it to work with homey and a 433 t…

Well.. an arduino, some batteries, a 433mhz tranciever, a few sensors and maybe a small solar panel could do both (and more) and would be cheap. I made an outdoor temp, lux, barometric pressure and soil moistere sensor. I payed about €25,- for the p…

In my opinion there are 2 sides to the coin. A more regular update would be nice. But that is all time that could be spend coding and making the product better. I am asuming someone made the coice to put full focus on getting all the work done. Is…

Do you guys think it has "out of the kitchen" detection? I could think of a use for that

You will never get the exact color, the color is dependent on the type of led and casing it is in. But you should be able to get close. Some colors will be better matching than others. I would start by seeing if you can match the unmixed rgb colors …

Could'nt this be a feature in the homey app? I dont know how restricted ios is in terms of accessing features like "unmute", "ring", or "show location". But, as an android user, i have seen apps that can utilize those functions (most antivirus softw…

@emile. I am realy exited about the arduino library. In the readme it states that it is using the nRF24l01+ trancievers (wich i already use for mysensors). Is this going to be a real thing?
