I don't think the Synology webAPI works anymore. I had a script that connected to it to make a screenshot of a camera in Surveillance station, after a few updates I wasn't able to login through the webAPI anymore. I didn't do extensive tests to fin…

Great suggestion though, and probably not much work to add for the developers of Athom.

As far as I'm concerned, these are all good tips to help Athom improve. Until now, mostly the 'geeks' have been playing with Homey. Geeks don't mind figuring out stuff on theirselves. However, as of this week also 'non geeks' received their Homey. …

I don't mind the noise and for as far as I can tell from this video, it's quite acceptable. Awesome, going to order soon

I reckon that point 2 is only temporary. As soon as it leaves the 'beta' status they probably have a Firefox and Safari version, and maybe maybe Internet Explorer and Edge compatibility as well.

@Geert awesome video. Which system is that? I really want one (I just received my curtains in the livingroom this week after 8 months of living in my new appartment, and I really get annoyed already by opening the curtains manually every day...)

If you don't sit too close to Homey, it works better. I myself put Homey approx 2.5 meters away and it listens quite well to 'OK Homey' (even though the text that it hears varies a lot in quality). If you go to http:///manager/speech-input/ you can…

Awesome!

Anyone?

That would be perfect. I would also like to see the extracted list of voice commands, if any, that the app supports.
-
Which makes me think again, that you've switched to an other voice recognition server that doesn't work as well as the other one...

Just reviving my old thread I found http://www.robbshop.nl/z-wave-gordijn-systeem-kallox-1-14-6-14mtr which looks really good at an excellent price. However, being a noob at Z-wave, I am wondering if this will already work with Homey? I doubt it …

EdTst said: With the new 0.8.27 firmware I found that Homey reacts a little better to OK Homey, but the false positives have become worse. Having music of TV on makes it worse. I experienced the same, but then got the tip to retrain wi…

@mruiter Backup and restore will be hard, since you will have devices connected in your flows. The devices are probably numbered and linked to id's in the system. When you re-add devices, they will get new id's in the system so a restore will only p…

@mruiter Somfy worked perfectly here. Within a minute I was able to configure/connect both my Somfy sunscreens to Homey. It is the one thing that always works perfect here.
-
Still experience a lot of false positives though

There is no software to install. The Homey built in webserver can be used to configure everything. Only if you want to develop apps you need to install software, this can be on a Linux machine, but Mac and Windows also work. All else installs throu…

New version was just published! Working hard on version 0.6.0 (not yet published, will publish the update in a few days) What's new (and finished): - Added action card: Select tuner preset - Added 'condition card' for the 'When...' column: P…

For now, just use a flow to set the loudness. Easiest way.
Communication with MOVE can be done with an UART link. Setup parameters: Baud rate 9600, data 8 bit, parity none, stopbit 1 bit, flow control none
I am not sure if Homey can do that. You might need some extra hardware for it. Howeve…

Yeah, this is just a first draft. I will probably update it with new commands and status soon.
-
First version has just been published.

OK, Yoda

Awesome! I am very eager for this. The amount of 'false positives' during movies was annoying.
-
I don't have this app installed but today homey indeed had some stuttering while speaking. So I guess it is not directly related to the app.
-
Awesome Gotta get me one of those. But I think the distance of the Fibaro water sensor to Homey is probably too far. Will have to include a wallplug to extend the signal.
-
How about this; Each weekday I set boolean 'askformusic' to 'true'. If I come home (after 15:00) and movement is detected (I use a Fibaro motion sensor for that), and 'askformusic' is still true, it will ask me if I want to listen to music. If I…
