@Bumblez Thanks, that sounds like a good system that will work on every (straight) rail. The videos could be a little more clearer on that perhaps. (Or maybe I didn't look good enough)

@Thijs_IIM I totally agree. I also want to be able to open and close my curtains when not at home. I can do that using Homey as a 'central hub' but as a standalone, that is also nice. What I love about Slide, is how I can also open/close by hand an…

I have made flows to dim my Hue lights when Plex starts playing, and set to 100% brightness when paused/stopped. Yesterday for the first time since this app I watched a movie, and it worked flawlessly! I love the speed of it as well. Now just have …

I am kinda wondering who also had their girlfriend create flows. I have not tried this yet (not even thought of it), but I think that might lead to some conclusions that will help make Homey even more user-friendly... Will try this soon LOL

I partly agree, mostly to keep everyone satisfied. As long as there are regular posts / updates, the community stays motivated. On the other hand I also understand that if there is no or little news, it takes up too much time to tell that there is …

All at your own risk (don't blame me ) but that should work. Do not uninstall the original app before you do the --run because that will most likely make you lose all devices. If you run it from commandline it should run like it were an update on th…

Reemster said: what are the changes in the new 0.1.3 version? Just bugfixes
-
Yeah, awesome, that works!

Had some contact with Thijs; as soon as the API is ready, they will give me a prototype to start working on a Homey app.
-
The Onkyo has a http API that supports setting a specific volume. However, I don't think that it will support the same using infrared. At least I couldn't find a way to do that using the remote.

@MarkSwift PlexMediaServer-1.3.2.3112-1751929-x86 from my Synology. Client is my Android TV (didn't check if the client was up2date).

[WEBSOCKET] Detected state: paused [LISTENER] Homey session listener detected event [DATA] Sessions Data: { MediaContainer: { size: 1, Video: [ [Object] ] } } It does sense that I am watching and when I pause, but it doesn't seem to work …

Backed it for 5 pieces, so let's see what happens!

@RemcoHannink I am not sure how much of it will work on non-Android-TV's!

I own 2 Homeys, and I would surely buy it again. I love the possibilities Homey gives me. You, however, do need to keep in mind some points in my opinion: - The voice does not work as great as you might hope for. I rarely use it. - Infrared does no…

I think you have to be very careful with your intercom, especially in a shared building... BTW there might be some info in the other topic https://forum.athom.com/discussion/398/smart-intercom-monkey-on-kickstarter#latest (Monkey was renamed to Ne…

I don't have a Harmony hub, so don't know the answer sadly! (I am the writer of the Onkyo app for Homey)

Update 0.4.3 is on Github now. It has a small bugfix which should prevent crashes. I will try out the update tonight to see if it works well, am not at home so I cannot test currently.
-
I placed an update 1.0.9 on Github. This should fix 2 types of crashes, as well as it should reconnect to the Onkyo if the connection to the Onkyo was broken. Please try it out, I am at work right now so I cannot test if it works correctly
-
Not sure if it's what you mean, but with the Onkyo app for Homey you can set the volume to a number using the volume card.
-
Or a direct answer: No, not at this moment.
-
LOL Almost, I was able to restrict myself and saved a few for another day... but that really was the maximum I could do! Thanks a lot!
-
@jjtbsomhorst That is correct, and it is something that I need to work on. If there is no connection, I need to wait a few seconds and try again. However I am in a busy time at work at the moment, so there isn't much I can do currently.

I believe there is no "default" Android http control. My Sony Bravia Android TV uses a scheme that is, as far as I know, different from what Philips uses. You can try with the Sony Bravia app: https://github.com/jordenc/com.sony.bravia.androidtv

It could be that the Synology is taking too long, that happens sometimes. You can only find out if you run the Synology app in dev mode and then try to mail. It can also happen that Synology returns a code 105 or something, that means that the login…

Yeah E-mail should work.

If you install the current experimental version, it should be fixed. There is a bug in combination of the current stable and the latest Hue app version.
-
Hue seems to be stable again, I really missed controlling the lights. I like the Facebook Messenger app for Homey (https://www.facebook.com/homeymessenger), kinda what I had in mind with Telegram but didn't fully create yet (also because it's not p…

I only have experiences with the LG Hombot, but the sound level is okay. It's more quiet than a normal vacuum cleaner, and either way I don't want any of them to go through the rooms when I am at home
