And a question I have: does the Homey app crash when the communication is lost with the rpi?
-
@JPe I have 11 circles and no problem on the pi3 with logs or anything. Has been running stable more than a year, but I do regularly update the pi with sudo apt-get update / upgrade. My pi3 is connected through wifi, and basically doing only pw2py. …

I use the enelogic app with a youless LS120 device for the main meter. It gets the power, gas and water meters. Furthermore, for individual socket metering I use a bunch of plugwise circles, which I already had before Homey. Now that I got Homey, I…

I still get crash reports from one or more users stating that the app crashed due to too many mem warnings. Who is experiencing these app crashes, and under which conditions does it occur? Please send me the logs (pw2py app settings). I hope that…

I have started the epic work of rewriting the Magister app to sdk2. I want to improve stability. Also I'm giving it another try to get better support for parent login. Not a simple task, since the developer of the magister api stopped his work a ye…

New version 2.0.4 is coming up Several stability improvements were implemented and a log module was added for debugging and general event log.
-
This is now a documented bug

Looks like I need to check the password support. I advise not to use a device password for now.

Too late! Been stressing already now . Good news is, I got it in the appstore release
-
@cbh I will take a look at bulksms. Maybe I can still get it in this appstore release
-
WOOHOO! The new version 2.0 was just submitted to the appstore. It is faster, stronger, and most of all: smaller. I reduced memory usage by removing all dependencies and rewriting the app to native node instructions. Furthermore aspSMS and BulkSMS…

@abeggled. I'm adding the service as we speak. Just need some testing credits from them to check if it works
-
I'm working on a full rewrite of the Send SMS app to SDK2. It will be even more stable, use even less memory, and will have some additional providers. Any requests to add a SMS provider?
-
Yes, it should also work with the password set. I never use it myself though.
-
@thjdeckers do you have the latest firmware for the ls120? Maybe you set a password? Did you try to power down the ls120, and then reconnect?
-
@Sjalabert not sure if the watermeter driver I made works with your meter. It needs a rotating reflective surface. See the detailed explaination I posted earlier in this forum thread.
-
@0burner0 great that you managed to pair your router I think that you tried the wrong setings a few times, and then the router blocks your Homey. The firmware upgrade resets the blocking, and voila. Another way to deblock is to usr the genie app t…
-
@0burner0 I see from bvdbos screendump that he has a newer firmware for his router. Please try again after upgrading your router.
-
Mmh. I still have my r7000 lying around. I will spin it up some evening this week. Maybe something changed with new firmware (hope not )
-
It must be you @0burner0 But on a serious note. I tested the app on a r7000 myself. It was actually initially developed for the r7000, and other routers were added later. Did you follow the instructions as mentioned in the appstore?
-
For anyone looking for an alternative solution: I have the youless ls120 (79 euro) configured to read my smart meter (electricity and gas) and the watermeter. Check the forum here for more info https://forum.athom.com/discussion/2779

Version 2.0.2 was just uploaded to the app store. Once it is approved you can let Homey enable or disable your guest wifi (2.4GHz and 5GHz)
