Great and solves the cable problem

MarcoF said: @D; What could happen in your eyes? The Firstbatch backers told here the received sometimes multiple updates a day(!). 0.8.17 was released short after delivery(if i'm right) 0.8.18 is planned for the upcoming week This "small" up…

JeroenVollenbrock said: 0.8.18 is currently being tested internally. If no blocking issues are found, it will hit the beta channel somewhere this week and the stable channel next week. Seriously, is there someone not on the experimental ch…

Dutch isn't (completely) working yet.

p0nts said: for a simple question for the time which is just an ntp query probably( or not even) The speech to text is done on an external server. That's why it takes so long. I believe only the ' OK Homey' command is stored locally.

You can always try on slack, it's less of an issue. (Probeer het anders op Slack, daar zijn ze minder strict). You can also try google translate (je kan ook google translate gebruiken) or just apologize and post in Dutch. No one will bite your head …

You can add them in the sub forum ideas and suggestions. If they are picked up, Emile will add them to trello.

I'm actually surprised no one of the first backers mentioned this before.

PimBliek said: Guys, give them some slack. They're obviously working very hard and they are releasing new updates very quickly. Definately continuous delivery at this moment . I'd expect .18 coming out within days. I don't disagree they …

I think shipping in batches is a great solution to raise the quality of Homey with every release. If this was properly communicated from the beginning, expectations would have been more realistic. But for a startup, I think they are doing okay. Righ…

1. Don't create a flow with the word 'Light' or any other keyword (whatever they are).

I guess those times with two updates a day are over? I can understand though, with over 400 Homeys out there the change of breaking something is much higher.
-
Just to be clear: do you mean "Ok Homey"? I keep hearing that Hey Homey registers better, but from what I heard it should really be Ok Homey.

MarcoF said: So if users are sending it back, its because the can't fix it and in there eyes its bricked. If the Homeys have to be sent back, they are bricked I agree. But we don't know that yet, so let's not call them dead yet. Tell them …

MarcoF said: For me an homey that's not responding to anything =="dead" It's dead (or bricked) when you can't do anything with anymore ever again. If there is a way to recover it, it's not dead.

Ik ben ook wel blij dat ik pas bij de volgende lichting zit. Dat er bugs in zullen zitten dat is niet zo vreemd, maar volgende week zal het alweer een stuk stabieler zijn. Oops, was thinking in Dutch again. I'm actually quite happy I'm in the next b…

The issues on Git are the known issues. If people don't go through that list to check for known issues, what makes you think they will go through a second list with known issues. I haven't checked, but maybe it's just a matter of correctly logging…
