If/when the Homey community gets large, maybe then Spotify will consider. Only applying pressure to Spotify will not bring us anywhere...

I would recommend the Z-Wave.me Busch-Jaeger series like this one: http://www.robbshop.nl/z-wave-schakelaar-duro-2000-met-2-uitgangen-2x1700watt-563 You can still use regular (non-Domotica) switches which look exactly the same. Also: these switch…

@Sommo, does not seem like a logical place. Does it have line of sight with the iR devices? (lol, just kidding)
-
I don't think that IF Homey should be able to communicate to their devices it should be done through the air frequencies but rather through MQTT and their bridge.
-
Looks really nice but the triggers and events have to be made in a text file: https://home-assistant.io/cookbook/automation_for_rainy_days.html Not really competition imho.
-
Yes, I want everything to work perfectly when I get one.
-
To collect your homey :-D
-
I know Domoticz had integration with the Fritz!Box. See here: https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=5107
-
@MarcoVanDenHout No but through the AVM Fritz!Dect 200 would be possible I guess.
-
That will be the same when using an ordinary remote then.
-
Ok, thanks. :-) The first part I get but the 2nd part: removal of 6 crenels (kantelen): I guess you have to know how Homey is build to get that? :-)
-
Haven been reading your first sentence like 5 times but can't make anything out of it.

+1
-
Lol
-
Thanks for the heads up! I'm still shocked you find so many issues after you guys gave the 'go'. (Not pointing a finger to anyone)

honey said: Re. Robin: There is nothing wrong with that. That is typical part of the development process. And things like the rusting legs are completely out of their control. They chose a good looking item and the supplier let them down. The poi…

If the hardware was perfect the first round, it would have saved testing time.
-
Agreed, Homey brand awareness is something I work on besides my day job, lol. Like @Moek, I also bombard friend, family with Homeys video's and news. :-D
-
Ok, finish Homey and then focus on the dev kit, lol
-
That's a sales video. Never trust sales, lol.
-
That seems like a good way to improve user experience...
-
@blusser, lol, good one!
-
Only no control through Siri but it's little trouble to open the Homey app and use voice there instead of Siri.

Been reading up and @BasPost is right: only with certified hardware Homey will be certified by Apple for Homekit. More here: http://appleinsider.com/articles/14/11/03/first-wireless-chips-with-apple-homekit-support-now-shipping-to-device-manufactur…
-
I'm sure if/when Homekit gets really big (like in many devices, services etc) and certification isn't anything stupid (which Apple sometime does with it's certifications) Athom will look in to it. It does give Homey a selling point!
-
You can install Homebridge on a separate pc/server. But I hope Homey will be Homekit certified so we won't need a separate server/install like Homebridge. In the mean time Homebridge is a nice solution (if you have a server up and running anyway,…

Yes, the blue wire is required. No, this completely replaces your current switch. But since my whole house is filled with the Busch Jeager enduro 2000 creme this is perfect for me.
-
Then someone should create an app and users will be able to download it from the store. C'mon guys, don't put everything Athom

@p0nts for me a device like this: http://www.robbshop.nl/switch-with-double-output-in-duro-2000-2x1700watt-687 which switches even without being connected to a Z-Wave network.
