Use this: So connect to VDD (5V) of the USR-TCP232-T and not the VCC(3.3V) as the supply voltage of the PowerMax is higher.

I'm receiving some crash logs from somebody that is using the app and probably doesn't have a PowerMax Pro. I only have the Pro to test with unfortunately. But for this user a message comes by that is not recognized. Issue should be fixed in the gi…

@Justjomi It only works one way. There is no way to generate an alarm on the PowerMax via the serial protocol. An alarm can only be triggered by a Visonic sensor.
-
Using the TTL level signals makes no difference. They cannot be used together.

@phrixos Good question. It can interface via rs-232 (see section 3.10), but I don't think it supports Powerlink mode.
-
@mruiter: no worries. I know somebody is using it as I have received some crash reports already . So will need to do some bug fixing this weekend.

'deleted' works like a charm, see e.g. https://github.com/nlrb/com.tclcode.otgw/blob/master/drivers/thermostat/driver.js

There is a good reason why all other use a library: it works. With Homey you need to be a z-wave expert to make a simple device work. There are not so many z-wave+ devices in the field, so that it is better with z-wave+ doesn't help most end-users. …

There is a milestone for 0.8.31 and 0.8.33 while they release 0.8.32? Athom works in mysterious ways...

weejewel [01:18] Late night coding; added session support to speech. So when you talk to a smartphone (or any other client, who knows), Homey talks back to that device, instead of the internal speaker. weejewel [01:18] As of 0.8.33 nlrb [08:11] @we…

The app has just been published, so looking forward to hear how it works for you!

No, it is still in review. Can take a couple of days. Will let you know once it is published.

BTW: the two apps now 'talk' to each other. Once a DSMR packet is received a request is done to the SunSpec app to read the solar power value. Delay between the two measurements is ~0.5 sec. So gives a good measurement of actual power usage (purple …

@mruiter good point on the power interruptions. Have my Vera on a UPS, but since Homey is in the living room I'll have to add a UPS there as well...

Visonic app part continued here: https://forum.athom.com/discussion/1264/

@Jeroenvano : I haven't spend any time on that (was working on making some other apps), but will try to find some time this weekend. Mainly still need to create the images, documentation etc. The app connects to the panel via the serial protocol. I…

As I also wanted to get some power readings, I've made a simple app to read the P1 DSMR data (https://github.com/nlrb/nl.dsmr.p1) and one that reads SunSpec data (https://github.com/nlrb/org.sunspec). This allows me at least to log power consumption…

I had to delete my KAKU switch and pair it again. Now it works. But it can trigger 4 times afer one button press .

Wow, ping times now look really good!

USR-TCP232-T or --E will work directly on the TTL pins. Use that one as well. PowerMax Complete will also work. They all have the same serial protocol. Just the Visonic RS232 pcb is hard to find as the new version is USB.
