Looking at it.. just tested on 0.8.32 and it works fine for me (with the correct IP address of the AVR set). Currently updating Homey to 0.8.35
-
Volume already works in my app (marantz). Maybe we can make a different discussion for the homeyavr app, since this is becoming a bit confusing?
-
Looks like AVR-3312 should work with my Marantz app. See http://openrb.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/AVR3312CI_AVR3312_PROTOCOL_V7.6.0.pdf It could be that you need to setup the network interface on the AVR first, and enable network during standby:…

Maybe Homey works better with this: http://www.dlink.com/nl/nl/home-solutions/connect/adapters/dwa-192-ac1900-ultra-wi-fi-usb-adapter ;-)
-
€10 is the sweet spot, I think.
-
Nice to hear about people using the app I have more plans (see the GitHub issues page) but need to find the time to continue programming. Glad that it's already useful in its current state
-
At one time I also thought Homey was very sensitive to ultra low noise (subwoofer like, e.g. passing cars outside). I could see the yellow ring responding to what was only background noise.

Turned off Wifi on my Mac, it's now going through ethernet. Still some timeouts on Homey. Speed to my Timeport is excellent. round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 0.277/0.987/2.461/0.469 ms Plenty of neighbours with WiFi though, probably most on 2.4GHz...

You can't get 0.8.18 or 0.8.19, apparently they've skipped deployment of those versions. So it's 0.8.17 (regular) or 0.8.20 (experimental)

Third ball and likes to show off its rainbow? Homey must be a cycling geek.

I have a wish list item for Flow cards that get the current status, but haven't started work on those yet. https://github.com/hilvarenbeek/nl.marcovandenhout.marantz/issues/5
-
New version 0.0.3 with zone support and volume flow action uploaded to GitHub version 0.0.2 added change input source and mute/unmute actions. If you know how to get an app from GitHub and run it using the athom-cli, you can test this new version (…

CEOL uses a different protocol so probably should be a different app. I guess they have a web interface so you could write an app that simulates a web user. I don't expect to make that app myself.
-
The app could also be made to read the status (current input, volume level, etc)
-
I don't think you can even see the Hue tap from Philips' Hue API. You might be able to see it in Zigbee Light Link but I don't know how that protocol works, and Athom's current implementation talks via the Philips bridge.
-
When you do a reset by turning Homey upside-down, it hasn't cleared the settings yet. The setup wizard will ask if you want to do a complete wipe or restart with the existing settings (except for the Wifi settings which you will have to enter again)…
-
I don't believe the back-up function is ready yet, see https://forum.athom.com/discussion/comment/10944/#Comment_10944
-
If they invite stakeholders, I'm in! ;-) I don't really think we should be telling Athom how to run their company. Telling them about our (the customer's) expectations is good, but let them chose their own preferred method of getting things done. …

How 'open' is Bluetooth LE? I have a cheap (Ibood home automation set by Archos which has BT sensors. It would be nice to pair them directly to Homey.
-
Yep, that version is in the works as well, Taco has mentioned it a few times so they're already working on new features/bug fixes in the 0.8.19 branch.
-
My Homey is on the '3' theme as well now.. it used to hear 'yes' and 'no' a lot. ..and I had it play a song twice today when I didn't ask for one... so I disabled Soundcloud for now.
-
Wikipedia does work sometimes, when Homey understands me The Wikipedia keyword works better spoken as something like wikke-pedia not weekeypedia
-
BeeWi is on Trello in the "Apps we're working on" list.
-
Probably not the absolute cheapest, since it is quite long (and I'm glad it is this long )
-
Maybe it's possible to add a second action card and delay it with 360 minutes?
-
I guess IR support is built into the firmware and not a seperate app so as 0.8.18 hasn't been relased yet (not even to the experimental channel) it's not here yet.
-
I think a reset and wipe pretty much brings Homey back to factory default, but I don't have any z-wave devices yet so don't know for sure. In my experience after a wipe my apps, flows, devices and settings are gone.
-
A reset and erase fixed that for me. I think it's the problem that's delaying 0.8.18
-
Ofcourse it should be possible to create a settings page within Homey to rename it there as well...
