On my Vera is programmed a simple ping from the Vera to our Android phones (yes thats not working with ios). I also experienced random false positives in the case WiFi was dropped. I solved this with a simple 10 pings threshold and works great. If …

2Be said: It look likes the signal send by Homey has a (very) good range. It seems the recieving of signals (doorsensors, doorbells etc.) is poor. Receiving is not directly a Homey issue. 433 is one way, so if the sender (door sensor,…

@KoenMartens I Agree! But what happens if the holes are to high and/or holes are partly covered? What will happen with the beam and IR power?
-
@KoenMartens ; Thanks and your explanation likes to make sense So the left and right sides are "linked" like these colors? ; Where green left of the middle is the max IR power between angle 0-5° and on the rights side power >80%+ Everything >…

Could somebody explain to may how I should read this chart?

@superice; Here's a screenshot of Location and I suppose its "configured" right? Also received a flow-email when I left my work building. Location within Homey is set correct and double check it this morning.

@DaneeDeKruyff Whoops... these pictures hurt my eyes.... Thanks for these great pics! Could the fact of machined holes explain why some of my IR-holes are partly closed???
-
@ZperX; I agree totally with you about type/brand. What I meant with "its not really important which typenumber or brand it is", is that both Osram's with this formfactor are the same size and have the same beam(type/angle). What would be the bene…

Presence detection is a pain in the ... If we both leave the house, in most cases only one of us is detected as leaving and the same for coming home. Its detecting us as away when we are in the garden, just walking to the car (which is parked withi…

@BasVanDenBosch ;;;; Reading @ZperX posts, its not really important which typenumber or brand it is. Its more important which LED housing and/or lenses are (not) used. Second I search a lot on the interwebs and there are not much IR LEDS with the s…

@MarcelKuijper ; Thanx and its almost the same on what I tested/experienced and found with my Homey. Here also no bouncing, here also 1 IR led missing, here also only working IR if Homey and the receiver are lined up, here also molding/drilling resi…

As of. 32+ there's a check for update button.

IR sucks balls. To all; Please check all IR holes to see if the all are open and(!) see if all IR leds are aligned right. Mine has 3 holes which are almost closed due to molding/drilling residues and 1 IR leds totally out of line. Also the IR bea…

@Phuturist Emile mentioned there will be a release this week (so it can be release sunday ). Silence is great, but not reacting on questions/issues mentioned on several platforms is

Presence detection work here " "ok" ". Yesterday I played what with (dis)connecting WiFi, FakeGPS and made 4 flows (2 persons, left/came home). The flows triggered, but not really as expected and later that evening we both left home and only one per…

In the screenshots I also see connection refused messages. Looks like the same issue as I ran into with my app and homey......
-
@superice; My fault if I was suggesting the permission crash was related to the other crashes. Just played some more and send another ~5 crash reports. It looks like the android "home" button is causing some crashes. Just start the app, wait some…

strange... here i got a small white popup. Something like this:

@keverjeroen Did you do a fresh install or update? Here it was a update.

@superice ; Thanx!! Can't wait till the store makes it available and I can test App is available in the App-store, so going to test now

I always(!) manual reset the device. Very simple, very safe, very easy, very straight forward and the end result is always the same So maybe its something the one person like, the other not....
