Same Here, tried to add it under a different module, didnt work. Then just learnt my remote with the module, and hit the ac-xxx. Then just copied the signal from the remote wich worked.

JeroenVollenbrock said: For ranges above 5-6 meters, the angle of the beams are too narrow to provide full 360 degrees coverage, (below that, the reflections of the IR light in the LED ring contribute to 360 degrees coverage) so you may want to rot…

FW 0.8.39 (stable) Im experiencing Allot of network losses wich result in my hue not going on or off at the programmed times. i have to reset homey almost twice a day to reconnect to my wifi network..

These are verry nice drawings, im not able to find suitable lenses to "spread" the beam, maybe @Emile @stefan @athom can point us in the direction of a propper widebeam replacement ir led
-
depends on what u want at this moment. KAKU, hue, push notifications work perfect for me, zwave ya there working on it, same with bluetooth. Its getting better n better every week/month. When you log-in to ur homey u see this beta label, not to dis…

Looks like the only solution to this problem is to replace the ir leds for wide beam leds and open up the holes like i did, or open the holes up and place widebeam lenses but idk what that will do with the strenght.
-
@MarcoF ; its 5 mm actualy, i broke 1 off trying to open up homey, i had to re-solder it that 1 is 3 mm now.
-
@MarcoF ; it is 3mm @Sommo No check page 1 for my test results. @drlrcq i was able to put a Stanley knife between the top half and led ring couse of bad glue-ing.
-
Yes i did, these are the holes i did my tests with.
-
@MarcoF ill check as soon as i get home. Edit, It is defenetly the osram led, Im looking for a lens to place in front to spread the beam.
-
So i have been fiddling. first thing i notised when i had it opened up was that i had 1 ir beam completely covered (foto 1). To me it looks like a moulding issue couse on photo 2 u can actualy see some plastic being cut away but not completly. Then…
