  • Hi @Taco or @Emile. I have bunch of Fakro z-wave roof windows plus included curtains which are now all controlled by a small battery powered remote. So how, in simple words, will I be able to take control over them with the Homey? Or will it be n…
  • Take the Aeon Multisensor (last version) it includes moisture, UV, motion, light, temperature and, how do I call it, earthquakes Available for around 60 euros and extremely energy sufficient z-wave. Plus: it's damn good looking...
  • @Stefan You might be lucky with this contact. Really hope it will be arranged soon though. Spotify support is a feature not to be missed imho!
  • Yeah, @Stefan, any news?
  • Emile said: Michael said: The Move project is going in the same direction as most of the Kickstarter projects nowadays. Respond every 5 minutes until you reached your goal and then........ total silence... 4 minutes re…
  • @Emile: I would love to hear you saying the same about Move (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/789589988/movemotorize-blinds-and-shades), as in: committing to build Homey compatibility. How about that? (I think that they have many more backers…
  • +1 for Fakro (window openers) +1 for Spotify (not perse Connect since that depends on Spotify, the 'normal' spotify would be enough for me so I can stream to Airplay / Chromecast) * 1 for Airplay +1 for Philips, especially if that would …
  • Thanks @G4nd41f for sharing. I have backed this project too. It's quite useful when there is no direct line of sight possible between Homey and the IR device (despite Homey's reputedly large IR range). I guess this will only become compatible with …
  • C'mon. This is software, not hardware.... So comparing apples to pears. When you want to add support for Z-wave, zigbee, IR, bluetooth, 866, KlikAanKlikUit, etc you need hubs or transceivers. Which cost money. Which Homey has integrated in 1 orb.…
  • @DaneeDeKruyff I would like to somehow let Homey interact with LoRaWAN so that the input signals of their nodes or any other sensor working on large distance and can be included in Homey scenes. I guess I'll need their gateway then as well?
  • Thanks @Emile. They also say "LoRaWAN is currently active on three open frequencies. Europe uses 868mHz, the USA uses 915mHz and Asia uses 433mHz." So Europe will be 868. Do you still think it might be compatible? If so, if I want to become a back…

  • Hi @Sparky, I would be interested to join, but am not a developer. I own 2 Axa remotes. If I can be of any help, let me know.
  • Great to hear Michael, thanks! I have backed them as well!
  • @moek All in all one could better buy a Fakro Window opener, based on z-wave. It costs 250 euro but that's it. No fibaro switch, external power unit and wall switch needed anymore. Not to say the time/effort for soldering this hand made solution.
  • @moek in the Robbshop info some changes in Vera's software are being made (last step), the question is whether in Homeys software can be done the same?
  • Moek said: @Ziglar and @Jonathan did you see this solution? http://www.robbshop.nl/over-z-wave/z-wave-projecten/axa-raamopenener-via-z-wave-bedienen (in dutch) They also sell a complete zwave solution I think, but it's a lot more expensive. P.…
  • Ziglar said: i guess that the axa remote controlls are secured with a code or something. if they were the same, everyone with a axa remote could open your window. @Ziglar; here's wat Axa had to say: "Wij hebben gesproken over de freq…
  • @Ziglar I see you also have Axa Raamopener 2.0. I am very curious whether or not this will be supported by Homey. Why I am asking: because in my setup, Homey will not be able to reach the Axa's IR-sensor directly, so therefore I bought several ver…
  • What I would really like is to have support for your local music and/or video, such as DS Audio or DS Video for Synology's NAS. Since I am not a developer: is anyone who is a developer here planning to make an app that supports Synology? Would be …
  • So how will that work with Spotify then? Same/similar?
  • Ah okay thanks. So the more you paid, the earlier you get it. Too bad for me then...! Enjoy your weekend.
  • Emile, first of all: congratz to you and your team with the new milestone! Take a beer on that, I'm sure you will... Secondly, in the update mail you mentioned: Super backer + First batch: Mid July Geek: Beginning of august Regular: Mid august (…

  • hi all, I've contacted Axa about the 2 RJ45 sockets and they've sent me some instructions on how to use the Axa Remote in domotica environment. Download here. Seems still a bit rough Curious if anyone is able to create a Homey 'app' with this doc…
in Axa remote? Comment by Jon May 2015
  • Oops, that's a bit of a delay Was hoping on any day in June but alas. Trust that it's all worth the wait...!
  • THanks Lesley, for your input. Controlling Axa remote by Z-wave was not really my intention (although could be lot more handy than by IR because IR needs line of sight). But I agree that hopefully I can let Homey 'learn' the IR code of Axa.

  • Thx. Love back, MarcoF (and Taco) ! (by the way: i queried "Z-Wave Plus" in the search function of this forum but got no results. I should have searched on "Z-Wave AND Plus")
  • Why aren't you using Google's then? Google Now seems to handle this functionality rather well.
  • By the way, @Emile, you mentioned before in this thread that you 'will be looking into supporting IR-repeaters'. Do you expect this to be the case for the out-of-the-box version of Homey that will be shipped to the backers?
