they are making it very hard for themselves having 2 versions in the pipeline and working on both.

perhaps I should open a new topic : 0.8.19

Any dates for .19?
-
So the question is what does 'it' mean? But I think 'it' is not the issue anymore. Perhaps 'it' is already too late?

TheoDeKoning said: https://forum.athom.com/discussion/comment/11205/#Comment_11205 Read it very carefully. We'll fix it and ship it somewhat later. Sorry! What's that all about? As I read it, they still deliver 0.18 and the fix will co…

It did not work

Perhaps I should sell my Homey while I still can?

A friend of mine just kicked out everything except fibaro stuff. Replace the vera with the fibaro controler and no problem whatsoever. Perhaps a smart move.

Something wrong with their speech-input and speech-output? Perhaps they need a rewrite?

What's the use of having a beta channel?
-
These will always be a bug that could not be solved. The intervals are way too long. We want releases at regular intervals and stick to the dates that should be pre announced. A few more days hmmm probably a week. I think I will unplug the Homey a w…

I'm going to dream about .18 now....

As long as there is no decent way of doing a backup/restore I am not going to use the beta channel. I will have to wait a few more days.
-
Anybody on Experimental release has the .18 already? I guess it will not come today or tomorrow. At least I expect some pre-anouncement. The radio silence from Athom makes me very sad
-
Stop testing and wait for any new release. Probably this issue is already solved. I think we have tested enough for the time being.
-
Any idea when this backup and restore functionality will be available? I would add that the backup can also be activated manually and that the generated backup file can be stored on a network device or attached to a mail. Of course a restore should …

Yes, very nice. Never used that tool but saw the same Blocks structure used in App Inventor 2

Nobody has an opinion or is interested in the software available on Github for Homey?

and the Raspberry Pi2 only running Node-Red:

Not always bad. Average 26ms during 100 pings

Enough said....

Yes, I hope so too but the IOT thing is the problem here, it is more than Domotica. Is IFTTT or any other webservice any different? I like to keep my data in my own network and not in the cloud. Besides Node-Red is interesting software and very easy…
-
True, if you can wait and if they will ever build this. Installing node-red on a new rasp can be done in a few minutes. Node-red offers more, not direct domotica related, functionality than the Homey will ever offer. I think that they don't need/hav…

You could read the mail using Node-red on a raspberry and let it trigger a flow in Homey.
