App works pretty well. Only thing I'm missing is the ability to change the hue using flows. And on RGBW lights to switch to white perhaps.

Right, opened my package On the box it says "Learn Homey new tricks by creating scenarios", is that proper English (American perhaps?)? I would think it should be "Teach Homey new tricks..." I pulled out my Homey from the box and to my surprise,…

Bingo.

I agree, good update!

Let's all make an appointment at some point where we make a pointless point by pointing with pointers. The word "point" looks weird when you type it so many times. You actually start doubting whether you wrote it correctly.

Your banana must've thrown me off somewhere along the course. If you take this and the fact that I got ill when finally arrived at my holiday destination after a two day drive, I got a lot of brain scribbles and write down farts. Now add 3 to that a…

Indeed, it'll be interesting to see how well Homey can distinguish your voice from anything you're watching/listening to in the future.

This is just a post without meaning. Or is it? *winkwinknudgenudge

Would it be possible to rewind a certain amount of seconds on resuming playback? (If you're keeping track of the current state) Since I assume that you might be missing the last bit of the movie/show/music when telling your Homey to pause and waitin…

Emile said: About reading about issues: the goal with our blog is to have a post every two weeks with in-depth information about the technology, and unavoidable the issues we encounter! (It's gonna be awesome). Nice one @Emile and @Atho…

I like the idea and understand the issue, which is why I +1-ed your post. For the sake of the forum not being cluttered with "+1" posts I decided to leave it at that. Since I haven't really got anything to add. The parameter display issue can alrea…

Hiya everybody! Really cool to see the interest in Marvin! I (unfortunately) have to admit he hasn't really progressed since the last update, since I have been waiting for some proper measurements of the Homey and its feet. Didn't really want to sta…

My 9W RGBW Milight bulbs arrived today, actually work pretty well. Not sure how they compare to Philips Hue though. I ended up using the EasyBulb app instead of the Milight app, liked the appearance better. Now I just have to wait for my Homey to a…

Gah, I've still got an old laptop display somewhere, for which I bought a touch screen from somewhere in China. Combine this with my pi2 that should be a spare in a month or two.. Result is awesomeness!! So. Many. Projects.

Not too familiar with iMovie, but maybe try saving it as a lossless video first (if you weren't already) and encode it afterwards (Quicktime Pro can export to h264 fairly quickly I found, but so can handbrake). Make sure you've got enough hard drive…

Pardon my previous post; I now understand that Rocket LED, Limitless, Applamp, MiLight, Easybulb are basically all the same thing.

hrc said: Hi Jasper very Nice! Are you willing to share the stl? I'll need to have a think about that when the model is finished (and the Homey fits)!
-
Just thought I'd share the progress so far (who knew Windows 10 came with a 3D printing app). Please note that it's still a work in progress. Also awaiting response from someone at Athom to provide precise measurements of the Homey and its feet.
-
Yeah, very sad news. Another great personality gone.

I'm working on a 3D model in my spare time, using images of a model I found as reference. I need to start thinking about how to put the thing together. I suppose it can be printed as one object, but then there'd be no way to print multiple materials…

Cheers! I hope it's exactly 12 cm. Since the view we're looking from (in that particular image) is actually diagonal when the Homey is standing on its feet, I sort of have to guesstimate the feet positions, for now.
-
STL is the latter by the way. Is someone from Athom willing to give me the exact measurements of the Homey and its three little feetses? Or maybe some side views so I know where the cables go in and stuff. Would be useful for anyone wanting to crea…

mruiter said: If you can cook it up and save it as an stl file which is one of the 3d standard models so most 3d programs can it can be 3d printed the most difficult thing will be to make the model so that the homey will fit in to it. it's 3 ball…
