For some people that will work, it depends on the situation. I park my car next to the front door and 10 seconds later i'm inside. I have a sensor at the front door and a motion sensor in the hallway. For the moment I don't have a (z-wave) siren ye…

Seems to be working OK here.

That's what I mentioned earlier, they probably all use the same api, so one app would be ok for all hubs. Maybe the different models support some extra stuff, but the basics (activity, channel, volume) will all be the same I guess...

I didn't say it's not working for you, otherwise you wouldn't be using it... Do you use it with motion or door sensors?

That is how my current controller works (I admit, it's a router/controller combo, so much easier to accomplish) . I like that system because you don't need to have an app installed and create a login to use with it. If you have people coming in yo…

If you order tbe non-ultimate, cheaper model, you should be ok, as far as I could find out...

Ah, that's a bummer. Not a good test then... It did seem kind of strange that the recognition was faster this way.
-
Yes, your pc records what you're saying. But it's sent to the same voice recognition service as when Homey listens to you (I guess/hope). @Emile, can you confirm this?
-
I just found this on Slack: http:///manager/speech-input/ Here you can see what Homey understands when you speak to it. Very handy and pretty accurate recognition! So for me, the problem is just having Homey understand my 'OK Homey'...

'Play SOME music', so random seems quite alright here

Practicing? You mean the voice training or practice for yourself how to speak to Homey?

Will they automatically update?

Is it finding any other devices? I'm having big problems also now! I just did a full reset of my Homey because it's not finding any devices anymore. And after the full reset, it's still not working!

Wouldn't it be more logical to put all these different brands in separate apps?
-
The bent cable is ok for me, but the fact that it's sloppy remains...
-
Maybe they got a different cable? Can a first batch backer give some feedback on this?

It's 'manager', not 'managers'

Logical it's still at 0.8.17, there is no .18 yet!

Those are things they should put under the Settings - System - Stuff for geeks section.

I love the fact that you always mention Emile's mother! And also +1 for your request (and most others you make on the forum )
