  • You are awesome!!!
  • Doesn't work here.  After pressing Send, I get no result back. Did I do it wrong?
  • You have a point about the communication. That is still not good enough. But other than that I don't think there is a lot wrong with Athom. Delta is clearly frustrated, and (IMHO) exaggerating a lot.
  • Just did a full reset. Did nothing special yet, no devices installed, just a few apps. Loadavg was about 0.6 at the moment of pinging.

  • I don't know what filesystem Homey uses, but I guess there's always a risk of corruption when you interrupt a write action.
  • Because you won't be using it? I guess nothing is transmitted if you don't have any devices included?

  • It's a small computer, just like an Rpi or similar. It's pretty rare to have a built-in battery for such devices.
  • ErikWikner said: I can see my Z-wave units after a reboot. But then to make them work i need to press Refresh Node for each node. Unfortunately, I'm having this issue also. At first it seemed like it was only a one time thing after I …
  • Ah, it's ANSLUTA! http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80288328/ Frequency range: 2400 MHz ~ 2483.5 MHz. Won't work...
  • What does it do?
  • And when exactly is it safe to unplug it?  When you restart and unplug it too soon or too late, that would be the same as unplugging it when it's running. Possibly that might even be worse...
  • Does anybody know how to open it?  Do you just 'twist' the top half?
  • MarcoF said: This "small" update is just bugfixing.... "Small" and "bugfixing" is relative. Just a couple of bugs makes it a small fix.  There is a pretty long list of fixed things now, so I'd call it "medium" Plus, they probably …
  • It's a very big update.  The previous one almost bricked several Homeys.  It's been a week since the previous update. I don't see why you are complaining?   As @D says, it could be way worse than 'it will not work'.  You could end up with a Homey n…
  • I have been looking at how to open it, but haven't dared it yet. Also because the orb seems pretty fragile and easily scratched. Somebody else will need to volunteer for it
  • MarcoF said: OK maybe you have a point. Rpi2 has 1gb memory, the quadcore runs at 900mhz and its an cortex A7 Hummingboard has 1gb memory, the singlecore runs at 1000mhz and its an cortex A9 I think the can compete. This is what …
  • I don't think Homey's SoC is more powerful than the one in the Rpi2.  It was faster than the Rpi1 (they were going to use the Compute module at first), but then changed to a faster SoC. This was way before the Rpi2 was introduced. Still, it shouldn…

  • Hm... weird. How do you control them?  With Homey or another app?
  • Can't test it for the moment, did something stupid and not I can't get my sensor connected anymore BTW, my Hues aren't showing up in Insights. Did you do something to get them listed there?

  • Fibaro Multisensor is by default set to wake up every 7200 and report his values. Unless there is motion, or temp/luminance changes by more than a certain value. This can all be set by parameters. Normally Homey should receive any big changes immedi…
  • The problem is not IFTTT, but his Homey that seems to respond very slowly to network pings. Tried it here from work over a VPN and my response times are better then yours. Sure it's not a problem with your network?
  • Phuturist said: As a zwave noob it's already hard to follow this thread. As Taco mentioned it will be more user friendly in the future but it would help me a lot if there is some documentation from Homey perspective on adding zwave devices (of …
  • PimBliek said: @MarcoF Z-Wave devices don't need an app perse, they need a user to RTFM... and set group associations. And yes, that's different dan on Vera of HC2 but not necessarily *BAD*. Calm down . It's not really a case of RTFM her…

  • Thanks, but I powered off a couple of hours ago to change the power adapter.  Didn't solve it unfortunately  @Emile, can you think of anytime I can try/check?
