In the settings page of your sensor, there is a parameter field. There you can change parameter 42 if you'd like to. But it will not update immediately, your sensor needs to wake up for that. By default it wakes every 7200 seconds. You can force …

I've had the Fibaros for 4 months now, battery is still reported at 100% (we'll have to wait and see if that's correct) So if I have to change the battery once a year maybe, that's not a problem for me.
-
I'm doubting which one to buy next also. The Aeon Labs has more sensors and is waterproof, but is obviously more expensive. If you don't need all the features, I guess the Fibaro is OK. Plus it's very small compared to the Aeon Labs

I have a parrot flow. But the problem isn't that Homey misunderstands me, he just doesn't start listening. The 'ok homey' trigger doesn't work at all. So for now I talk to it through the /speech-input, and the recognition there is pretty good act…

A Dutch section would be stupid for the moment. There are not enough non-dutch people here. 90% of the topics would become Dutch and the foreign people wouldn't be able to find the info they need.
-
They might. Normally, if the right classes are supported, it should be OK. You'll have to wait until you have your Homey and check... Unless somebody else can test for you of course
-
Do you need an app? Have you tried adding them?
-
'Said anything' with 'contains' card. Just because Peao (I think?) said that works better. The thing is, I had my Homey set to Dutch, so I made my voice commands in Dutch. But since my Homey doesn't react to my voice, I had to use the /speech-input…

In a few days it will be released to beta he said on Slack

I have 6 flows for the moment: - Watch TV - Listen to radio - Match a movie - Play Wii - Play PS4 - All off Super easy thanks to @brinkie

Martijn said: Great device and super lightning fast with MrMC (KODI). I refuse to pay money to people who try to make a profit on the back of other people's hard work I'll stick with my RPi, thank you
-
Every Raspi can run Kodi, but the first generation was a little slow in the menus. Video was fine though. I would recommend a Raspi2 Model B. Model A has no onboard network, so you would need to use a usb network adapter (wired preferably)

BasVanDenBosch said: I have one RaspPi, there's a white bowl around it Would be too much to load Kodi to Homey I guess? No, you don't. There's no Raspi in Homey And yes, if it was a Raspi, it would probably slow your Homey down too…
-
Ah, that's not a problem then. Happy coding!

TheoDeKoning said: Thanks for all your reactions. Only wifi is then still the problem here, I have to look in to that.. How do you plan on using Homey if you have no wifi available?
-
Nope, just install Node.js on Windows and you're set. Did it yesterday, works right away

Phew, glad it's not only me! Indeed, it seems to be installed and running OK!

I saw you had some problems with the drop-down list for the activities. You had to use autocomplete? When I add the card, how should I select the activity? When I start typing, there is no autocomplete. [edit] So, I made a flow with trigger 'you…

Uploading.... [Edit] Added my hub without any problems! Going to try a flow now
-
So I have node.js and athom-cli installed and I logged in. Now what?
-
Installing node.js right now, I can't wait anymore to install it from the app store
-
Oh man, that is really, really, really cool!!!
-
Maybe you guys already noticed, I just saw something nice! When you install something on Homey (app or voice) the blue ring shows you the percentage it has done. With an app it's finished too fast, but you can see it nicely when downloading a voice
-
I think they are planning on implementing user rights later.
-
Once they get 433Mhz working, I'll give it a try. If needed I'll hook Homey up to my power bank and give it a drive around the block

Crunch said: If you write it in a driver fashion you could use the pairing wizard to add new instances Great idea! I have 4 Kodi's running at home, so what would be super!

MathijsFrencken said: This is a problem that troubles us all. I have made this app with the developer (CMD) console. After running it reports the full speech (input) string to the console, it usually isn't even close to capturing what the user s…
