@nklerk Why switch power on the pi? It's not advisable from a SD card standpoint and it doesn't use a lot of power. You could integrate a motion sensor in the mirror and use that to let the pi switch the screen (at leats I am considering this now..)

I bought ECO RS 20 EXT foil, it's actual to prevent sunlight from falling in but it also has a mirror like effect. Not sure if this works, but for 4 euros I didn't mind giving it a try NPeters said: ... I will use a small flat scre…

Hmm, why does "network" under geek stuff show an ipv6 address? Is this a self generated one?

Op alle slakken zout leggen.

Not sure why Athom can't post the app source as the Magic Mirror guy did it with consent (he is even featured at their website..)

Je kunt enkel een inschatting maken door het forum na te speuren. Zelf heb ik de Aldi set nooit aan de praat gekregen. KaKu spul werkt (op een hele enkele keer na) wel gewoon goed.

Hmm, then I will check again in my config. I am using an wireless accesspoint with ser2net and I can only connect one client at a time. But yeah, an API similar to getotgconfig would be nice. You get a json response right? At the moment I am gettin…

Is it possible to get vars like current setpoint and temperature via an external api? Since you can only open one connection to the OTGW and Homey "owns" it I would like to get those values from Homey

Look above, you fall in the 2014 category I think

Think your TV is similar to mine, so you should be able to change source but thats it. Volume, mute don't work. Fact that changing channels doesn't work is "intended behavior", that is controlled by by the settuopbox.

I have two esp8266 which support several protocols (inc domoticz), they are also very easy to use. I am currently experimenting with the http app but a dedicated app with driver for these devices is also possible ofcourse... http://www.esp8266.nu/ …

That would require a code change for every room. Wouldn't it be possible to allow for a http get request in Angular to provide this information?
