Perfect perfect! I have a couple of led strips and arduino's. Together with the NeoPixel/ArduinoPixel sketch (https://github.com/pAIgn10/ArduinoPixel) I can use put commands to control them.

Awesome! ps. Update 08/02/2016 14:28 We've shipped the Kickstarter Geek Backer's batch, whoo! The next delivery dates will be determined accordingly in the following week, according to how well this batch is received. You can understand we don't w…

Haha yeah though not for Homey but for my kitchen touchscreen computer Haven't been able to get this Api working yet (but then again, my python skills are very limited). Though the (hidden) REST api works

I would definitely like a (general) reminder system based on Google Calendar.

Emile said: (...) Exactly those things. Actual videos how to get Homey working for day-to-day operation. I am also interested in what MarcoF said about multiple protocols so for example a 433mhz kaku switch which controls a z-wave dimmer.

MarcoWijk said: I'm really disappointed. You're all Backers, right? So stand by Homey! I don't understand some of the negative reactions on wanting to get it to Mediamarkt. Really, a bit more trust in Homey guys. Homey works, as simple as that. …

At the end of the week the first real batch should be shipped to Geek backers.. Honestly hope they will make that deadline (would be a first )

We need a place for tutorials on jailbreaking Homey

Done! The pessimist in me says its useless. An idea to open up their connect api for public developers has many more kudos and still they decided not to do it at this time.

HarryBuurman said: No they can't be blamed. I agree. But from a kickstarter perspective homey does a good job. They communicate (here, should do it on kickstarter website as well), they start to deliver and they are open for suggestions. People…

Regardless of what has been said, with the "pre-order" you are following indiegogo TOU so it does not matter if you use paypal or a creditcard if they don't deliver you're just as screwed as the backers.
-
Sure they will get there but people who didn't look at the kickstarter post and just went to the Athom website never clearly confronted with the uncertainty. I am inclined to say that those people can't be blaimed for being more impatient as they pa…

Is the Homey app capable of receiving push messages? Then one could argue this isn't immediately necessary for the owner who can login to the app. Currently I use NotifyMyAndroid and I am quite pleased with it. For "life important" announcements s…

At the moment I still use an edited version of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vOvDFxn76g or my grocerylist and (part of) home automation. Perhaps more on-topic the "Big Oven" api (http://api.bigoven.com/) might be a cool starting point for a sho…
