Do you have Let Homey Tell you when: ...a motion sensor is active when arming in the Speech settings enabled?

New version published: Version 1.0.15 * Added 'Alarm State' condition flow card With this card can you can check if an alarm state is active in your flows: @Hannes85

@_Marco_ devices that register motion or contact that are mapped to the alarm_motion and alarm_contact capability in Homey can be used as an input for Heimdall. If your Doorbird doorbell doesn't show up in the settngs page of Heimdall it's motion d…

Thanks @Hannes85 My worries are not with Athom going to write Security as part of Homey itself (*) but the fact that the Web UI will be removed because of the Mobile Only strategy does worry me. I can see no way to build a UI for Heimdall setting…

@Hannes85 There is no condition card to check if the alarm is tripped. What you could do is create a variable with either the build in logic or Better Logic app and set that to a specific value (I'd suggest a boolean so true/false) and evaluate th…

@k1s you need to add the switch device and can decide for yourself if you operate it in the or via a flow. You can also use a combination if desired. It is described in the opening post in this thread just below Surveillance Mode

In my opinion additions like Homey Security (and perhaps also other extensions on Homeys capabilities) are better not added into the core but build as apps. If they're part of the core they will developed in the same pace as the firmware itself is a…

It was raised on slack too but no response from Athom. Imo Homey should show a warning of some kind when the inclusion is started secure but the device ends up added unsecure.

Yeah, and he’s not the only one. Emile said it was a hard desicion to take to drop speach but he realised Athom had been overtaken left and right by other companies doing a better job on that part. Let’s hope there will not be a need to drop other f…

@mruiter no real outcome from the discussion and it doesn’t really matter. The outcome of the direction Athom is taking with Homey is to unsure for me to put a lot of spare time in developing extentions on current functionalty. Plus, Athom will be…

@olive the ring doorbell 2 seems to me like a new model and it isn’t specifically mentioned as supported on the app, so perhaps @DennieDeGroot has to add support for it in the app before you are able to use it.
-
There's an easy fix for that: get your own personal API key. Clearly there are a lot of people using the app without getting their own personal key, that's not something the app developer can fix nor change.

New version published: Version 1.0.13 * Added flowcard that triggers when a logline is written When you select the Log option on a device this card will be triggered when the device state changes. Per request on Github

@rickp @vaderag I've done testing with adding a new sensor and I can't reproduce your issue. When I add a new device and then go to the Heimdall settings page the newly added device is shown. One important thing, Heimdalls settings page needs to r…

@rickp @vaderag Thanks, I will look into that. Heimdall should (or at least did) see added devices without the need of a reboot.
-
Nope, I've got 802.11r enabled and have no connection problems with Homey. Homey is in range of 2 AP's one at -51dBm the other at -64dBm
-
@quakerix I'm not gonna add a counter that adds up at triggered sensors. In my experience, and many others too, the cancel alarm message from a sensor is often not received/handled well by Homey so it simply wouldn't work. Some options for this pa…
-
@hvdmeeren Thanks! Changed it, there's already an update pending approval so will be included after that one. @vaderag A new sensor should be picked up at adding it to Homey, did the reboot fix it or was it the scrolling as @Eternity suggested?

New version published Version 1.0.12 * Minor translation fixes

Thanks.

I heard somewhere that other apps don't have a problem connecting to Toon... Oh, wait I just checked that and it turned out to be true! I'm sorry, but hearing something and having to plea that it's not Athoms fault without proof what's up with that!
-
I read it as if it needed to be device independant so a common tag on different device would enable it to select those devices with a particulair tag, the nmeden said: I can address on light at a time, but I want to do this with many flow…

I’ve got similair flows but I also evalute the temperature outside so I only get a message when it’s cold outside. And now that we got a new Toon app again I’ve added a card to change the program.

It’s not possible right now and @Emile shot it down as a feature request: https://github.com/athombv/homey/issues/1917 (not having this made me decide to create the Heimdall app so i guess something good came from it)
