Best fully wireless switches
Hi guys,
I would like to extend my Homey use and need some switches for that. I don't want to replace existing hard-wired switches because my house is plastered with them and I have "hotel-wiring" everywhere. For every light I have 2 - 4 hard-wired switches so I don't think there is an easy way to replace these with hard-wired z-wave switches. So I would like to place fully wireless switches throughout the house on strategic locations. What would be the best options for the switches? Anything new and nice-looking on the market that works with Homey?
I have a renotec scenemaster (works great, but is not so goodlooking). And a 4 button Aeon labs wallmote (battery dies pretty quickly). Anything else worth considering?
Thanks!

I used the Xiaomi zigbee Aqara Wireless Remote Switch Double (or single). It looks nice, has a good build quality, is cheap and works perfect for me. Maybe a little downside (not for me) is that it is bigger then a normal switch so it won't fit in housings.
look at this on (single button wireless) 5 functions : https://www.gearbest.com/access-control/pp_626695.html?wid=1433363
Or this dual button (wireless) 3 functions : https://www.gearbest.com/alarm-systems/pp_610095.html?wid=1433363
Or single button (wireless) : https://www.gearbest.com/access-control/pp_626696.html?wid=1433363

Check this page for the software for homey : https://forum.athom.com/discussion/4120/app-xiaomi-mi-zigbee-main-discussion-topic-v0-3-0/p1

But you already have Hue's so you don't need an extra switch module to switch light from your Homey.
I also have a Aeotec Wallmote Quad (https://www.betaalbare-domotica.be/controllers/wandzenders/aeotec-wallmote-quad.html ) which you can hang to a wall and remove it (magnetic) to use it portable or charge it. Works great for me. You can use the soft buttons to trigger flows or operate a device directly. You can dim by "push-and-hold" or swipe over the button. But they are expensive.
only the Aqara wireless switch with Gyro supports the key held and release; see capabilities per device at: https://apps.athom.com/app/com.xiaomi-mi
