     Great update Bas! Thanks!!
I guess plugins should be submitted to you to get installed on the HomeyDa.sh server and are available for everyone after that?
  • @GeurtDijker
indeed, you can grab the source from github. Run locally, add a plug-in and submit a PR.
  • I updated homeyda.sh yesterday with a few very small fixes and a scaffolding tool for plugins.
This will make creating plugins easier

I'll try to create the docs asap.
  • And here are the docs:
    https://github.com/swttt/HomeyDash/wiki

Might not be complete, and i'll try to create a bit more like a tutorial later on.

If i am going to create a tutorial, what do you guys want to see? I could re-use the power-overview, but rather write something new during the creation.

    Some options might be:
    - New overview
    - Weather overview
    - To do list
    - Notes

    Let me know :)
  • Buienalarm overview  :)

  • Hi, are you currently working on themes? And do you'd have any idea when we can expect a working widget part? I'm very excited!
  • @powermarcel10
Had some high hopes to finish the widgets last night but bumped into a few issues.
Plus i am still not satified with what it takes to create a plugin/widget, so a little rewrite can't be avoided

It isn't going to take allot work, so i got my hopes on finishing widgets and plugins (at least the base) this week. I don't promise device widgets yet tho. As an addition i am going to write a tutorial on how to create your own plug-ins.

Themes isn't something i have thought off, so not even sure if i am going to. But i am going to add some other backgrounds to use.
  • I would love to see url integration like a button to access my Google Calendar and show that framed. And I cant wait to see my honeywell added.

Various calendars then please, iCloud calendar for the win :)
  •  huhm... need to look into that!
Good idea, but too hard for a tutorial
  • Installed the Dash, works oke, but if I want to go to the page again it keeps on (re) loading and nothing shows up.

So .. wat do i wrong?
     Thanks for the input.

  • @skoni
you are running it in development mode, and i have some issue there with the hot-reload part.

Tried to fix it last night, but still no solution. For now during development you can close the tab and open a new one again.
    hope to fix it soon!
  • @swttt

Thanks for your fast reply. So It is a know issue. No problem. Keep up the good work.
  • @skoni
Just to check, the source is for development purposes only. The master branch gets build automatically on https://homeyda.sh
  • Is there a chance of support for virtual devices ?
My buttons are not visible in https://homeyda.sh  :'(
  • @skoni
I think i fixed hot-reloading in the last commits.

    @abeggled
Oh wow, never noticed i didn't had them in there. Created an issue here to keep track: https://github.com/swttt/HomeyDash/issues/23
  • Hello,

I opened the site on my PC and it requested permission to my Homey device, which I gave.

However, I'm not going to use the site atm but I can't seem to find where to remove the permission.

Where can I remove this please?

    Regards,

    Dennis

  • This permission is gone after you remove the localstorage or wait 2 weeks
  • Soo i finally finished the plugin part exactly how i wanted it to be.
I'll create another update on Patreon for you guys to read later today, together with a tutorial on how to create your own plugin (with little HTML, CSS and JS knowledge).

An update with buienradar is coming tho.
  • @swttt cool stuff.
    I can name the box.
  • Ye, but don't try to edit yet....since its not possible
  • Soo...it has been promised for a while now, but finally widgets are done
Not that i have added any "nice" widgets yet tho and i expect to fix some issues you guys might find.
An edit button is still missing as well, so enough work to do but i was pretty excited this part is done
