New to homey

Just bought one at the Mediamarkt and planning to bring it back. After installing I tried to install the Sonos app some KAKU switches, evohome but nothing seems to works correctly. I see the hardware and when i'm lucky I can operate the volume of the SONOS play1  but cannot switch it off or on. the kaku switch could be operated when i installed it, but is not available in the app.  However, I see  the hardware install on my MAC?? The evohome cannot be seen on the IOS app  but seen on the imac app. I'm totally lost. Is there something what I don't know or missing?

  • Did you install the KaKu app before pairing your KaKu switches (https://apps.athom.com/app/nl.klikaanklikuit)? 
    Are you logged in with the same account on the desktop app and on your phone?

    Yes i did ! on both questions. Can I use the kaku without the app? I also installed a TV (infrared) and .... the same problem. I see only the Sonos play1 in the app and I'm able to operate the volume. That's it !

  • When Sonos device is added u can see them in the device tab:






    Here u can select play/pauze, previous and next song and adjust volume.
    In the flows tab u can make flows to automate. This is one of the cards in the THEN colom:




    Also in IOS app there are the same things.
    Can u tell me what ur missing exactly?
  • And maybe u can try the Chrome browser. Go to my.athom.com to log in ur Homey.
  • I am using chrome and this is what i'm seeing. 

    and this is what I see on the app of my iPhone. As said i can operate the volume but that's it. And where are my other devices like the TV and Kaku?


  • Weird thing is also that the new name (I entered and 1 to the end of the zone: kantoor 1) is not reflected in the iphone app
  • In Chrome, check the top left corner of the card of ur Sonos with ur mouse.
  • I have seen these controls but ....the same effect. No sound when I click on play. Only when I switch the sonos On manually, then I can control the volume. But again it is not only the Sonos which is strange. None of them are working as expected. Could there be something wrong with Homey? I have experience with other apps like Domoticz and I use the same devices (i.e. KAKU) with Homey. They all work fine with Domoticz.
