No sound from homey

After receiving my first Homey I immediately tired to setup everything to test out how things work.
During the first boot i noticed that Homey didn't told that i could connect to it's network, i thought; perhaps it could be something with the software.

To test things more i added a flow to let Homey say something to mee, during this test i saw that the Homey led ring bounces in the form of the text it should say. Unfortunately there was no sound.
To test some more i tried to use the voice command from homey, during this test i also saw that the led ring of homey responses to my text (i asked Homey what time it is).

I am getting thoughts that the mic maybe broken (or some connection).
Is there anything i can try to test it some more to be sure i didn't made a fault?

  • First you're mixing things up. The microphone has nothing to do with the speaker. Seeing what you wrote, the microphone works (Homey reacts). But Homey doesn't say anything, no speaker? But she reacts as if she's speaking?

Did you check the volume-settings? Could you check in chrome-browser what happens at:
    https://[homey's ip]/manager/speech-input
    https://[homey's ip]/manager/speech-output

What i tried to tell is that when i ask Homey something i see that Homey reacts on what i was asking.

Using the links you gave me i could ask homey something and indeed i see the answer in the output but still no sound from the speaker.
I did a double check and the volume of Homey is at 100%

With still having the output open and setting the volume i see the percentage.

If there is something wrong with the hardware off your Homey there is only one place to go and that is support of Athom instead of our community forum, because then we can't help if your speakers are at 100% and no sound is coming out of Homey.

    Thanks for your reply.
The first thing i thought; let's ask it at the community because you never know, it could be that i have missed something.
    I contacted the support.
