  • I installed this app on homey, homey is in the same room as the TV and it recognizes the remote but if i send a signal nothing happens on the television. its the 6400 series

    There must be a free sight between Homey and your tv because it is infrared.
    If there is something between Homey and your tv, it won't work.

    Is there a way to detect if the tv is switched on by the remote control (Not by Homey).
    The App is not detecting any action from the remote control
    Because if the tv is switched on I do want do dim the lights .
    Or is there an other methode to detect tv is on?

    Put a Neo wallplug behind the TV and measure the power.
    And in case @caseda is gonna tell that putting the plug behind the TV won't work:
