[Solved] when is sunset and sunrise active?

I do use a trigger based on sunset.

I did find out that sunset is not active anymore after a while (In the night somewhere?) but sunrise is then also not active?

On what  are these variables based?

Comments

  • Sunset and sunrise are moments to be used as triggers. The sun rises at only one moment. If you mean "it's after sunset/sunrise" I presume it's based on the day so probably at 0:00 ?
  • Sunset is not active any more after 0:00, because Homey recognizes it as a new day
  • In my opinion sunset is at 16.28 today. The time after 16.28 is “after sunset” and lasts till 0.00 hour.
  • @Rocodamelshe exactly:)
  • I think that's true, but not logic.

I did expect that after sunset is until sunrise and not stopping at 0.00 hour.

Because now I can not check on sunset after 0.00 hour

  • After 0.00 hour it’s the next day aye? Then from 0.01 till sunrise it’s “before sunrise”.

make in better logic a variable "sunset" true/false.  and use them in your flows, works great.
    do this like:
