Multisensor 6 reporting temperature

Hi,

Is there any way to get the multisensor 6 on battery to report more often then once every hour? I have seen the post about this with luminance but I need it for temperature.

Do any of you have a trick for fixing this?

  • Are you talking about the aeotec?

    Yes

According to the manual there is no point in setting the adjustment there if you use it with battery. Anything under 1 hour isnt accepted
  • Well, don't you answer your own question then?

Im asking if there is a way around it.
  • Sure, connect the power to it.

We can't control the firmware of the sensor, and are fully reliant on how it works.

You can try to increase the wakeup time, but don't think that will change the temperature interval then.
  • If you change the wakeuptime -and- the temperature threshold then it will report when the temperature threshold is crossed at the wakeup interval.

Every time the sensor wake's up because of the wake up interval it evaluates all value's against the value's at the previous wake up. When the difference between value's exceeds the configured thresholds the new value's are send, otherwise the sensor just goes to sleep again.
