Cable TV box support
Hello,
I just (!) discovered that wonderful thing which is Homey. Shame on me I didn't discover it before.
Anyway, one thing is bothering me, it looks that my Cable TV box (Voo box evasion - Belgium) as the remote is RF remote (2.4ghz) and Homey does not support that. Am I right ?
It's a bit pity as more and more remote are using RF and it is way more convenient.
Also, it would be very convenient if we can control the homey from any universal RF remote. Actually, that would be one of the reason that would interest me the most, using a single remote for controlling everything, and not having to take my smartphone (launching the app and so on) for changing my hue light, controlling the shades etc !
And this remote should work even if the homey is not visually accessible :-) so RF makes sense (or any other wireless technology, if there exist such universal remote supporting it) !

I know the lastest Proximus box has both, don't know about Voo though.
I want a clean and neat living room and not a pile of devices next to the TV
Of course, we could use a IR transmitter inside the cabinet (actually several ones, as my devices are in seperate places) but that would be a pity as there is technology for that.
And using RF is much more convenient (no need to point in the direction of the device).
But since Homey has no hardware for 2.4Ghz RF, you'll need a workaround if you really want a Homey
