With minimum 4 buttons.

  • Each of the 4 buttons should be able to:
Short press turns on / off the light
Long press the dim light up / down

@steffennygaard can you be a bit more specific to give you the right answers?

Which devices should it be able to control (1 protocol only or different protocols)? Please be as specific as possible...
Should it be able to control directly (for 1 protocol only) or through Homey (both options)?

Wich devices did you already try and found?
  • Except for the 'wall mounted' part, your functional requirements are met by Nodon Soft Remote. There are four buttons and each button has four functions, i.e. single, double, hold, and hold&release.
  • Im using the Nodon Wallswitch, have been working perfectly for about 2 months
  • If z-wave then I would use the Aeotec Wallmote quad.

But if you are going the aeotec wallmote route, be sure to order the new version, as the old version has a bad hardware error, not fixable with a firmware update.
only see able difference is the line in between both bottom 2 pads is rounded at the under side

Options there are loads for zwave:
    Hank 4 scene manager
    Aeotec quad wallmote (new version)
    Nodon wallswitch
    Nodon softmote
    Remotec scene master
  • very happy with Hank 4 scene controller, working 100%
  • Hi every one
Thanks for all your replies. I have Fibaro dimmer 2, so I will order a nodon wallswitch right away.
    I'm looking forward to testing.
