I need help setting up a flow

Hey,

I got my Homey yesterday and so far I'm very satisfied!

But i'v got one problem, i want to set up a flow which do this:

When i press "power on" on the tv remote, the Fibaro power plug (which the tv is connected to) turns on, and then homey sends the "on" command to the tv.

This how my flow looks like:

I have installed the Samsung Remote app

I'v got a Samsung ue55ju7505.

  • Does this flow work already? So does the Fibaro plug turn on? If this is working, you have to add a card in the 'Then' part of the flow. That card has to be a card that turns on you TV. Then click on the little clock in the right top of the card and type in a delay of a couple of seconds.
  • Thank you for replying.
It's not working,  nothing happens when i press "power on" on the remote. Sorry i forgot to tell you guys about that part...

When i press the "Test flow" button it seems to work,  except i don't have to press the actual button, the fibaro plug turns on by it self.
  • Sounds like a problem with ur remote in combination with Homey. Maybe try to use another button, just for testing. Or maybe try another remote like stated here and see if that works.
  • I have got i to work a few times now, not constantly. If i press the power on button 20+ times, if i'm lucky the power plug will turn on. I'v tested all the remotes i have at home and its the same story.

I have tested to add the remote  as "Samsung most models" and manually added the "Power on" button, and homey recognize my button press on first try, so at least the IR sensor isn't dead.

    i'm getting so frustrated now

  • And how about another button instead of the power button?

i'v tested a few other buttons instead, with the same result. 99% of the time it doesn't work.
