I have been trying to use a flow in IFTTT but so far all I see in IFTTT is Loading ... | Options unavailable.
    What should I do?

    - I have re-installed the app
    - I have recreated the flow

first make a flow in homey and then make the Applet in IFTTT.

I have made a flow in Homey (like 10 times) but when I go to IFTTT it says Options unavailable. So I cannot see the flow that I have created in Homey.

Hmm I quess I was doing it the wrong way around.

I thought if this *homey flow* that that but it has to be if this than that *homey flow*

Same problem over here, can't see any flows. Does anybody know the solution?
  • first make flow in homey and then in ifttt
  • Created the flow in Homey, then in IFTTT - doesn't work (option unavailable)
Disconnected IFTTT, reinstalled IFTTT app in Homey, created the flow again, doesn't work
Tried to use the beta - no support for my Homey Firmware Version (1.5.3)
    Any suggestions?

Can only tell the IFTTT beta is for > 1.5.4 wich is currently tested in developer preview (alpha). Did you saved the flow and wait a little before checking IFTTT?

okay try this after you did connect your homey with iftt at the settings in homey

    create this flow

    then go to https://ifttt.com/my_applets
    click on "New Applet"
and click on the + This
    enter "homey" in the search
    click flow is triggered
end the "testing flow should be loaded.

    an other way is:
    create this flow:

    go to https://ifttt.com/my_applets
    click on "New Applet"
enter f.e. Wheather Underground in search balk
    click sunrise fe
    Then click + That
    Search for homey
    Click "trigger a flow"
    And "testing 2"is loaded

As you can see , there are 2 way's

If this is not working then i'm out of ideas.

  • I'm blushing out of my own stupidity... :(
I was buling it in the wrong direction of the flow. It all works now.
glijie, thanks for the time invested, really appreciated!
  • Hi there,

The tutorial video in the first post is no longer available:

How come? Is the Homey app no longer working/available?

    Thanks.

  • Been fighting with IFTTT now for a while. It seems very simple, but just doesn't trigger the IFTTT applet.

    IF <a user says x> THEN trigger <IFTTT test>

The IFTTT applet is connected to my Harmoney hub that triggers to turn my tv on. The IFTTT connection to my Harmony is working. I tested the same function via a non homey function.

When i trigger/test the flow in homey it works (as test also a light turns on) but the IFTTT does not get triggered.

    What am i missing here?
