Milight connections

Have bought a Milight hub for use with iPhone, and three Milight LED strip controllers to work with the hub - two are RGBW and the third is single colour (white). Can download the app fine and establish connection with the hub, as shown by the status light on the hub. However, cannot find out how to get the hub to talk to the controllers. No instructions came with the controllers, and the "manual" for the hub that I found on line only covers Milight bulbs, not strip controllers. I'm clearly missing some detail about the connection procedure. Can you help me out, please? At present the system is useless as it's not controlling anything!

Use the phone app ...
Then add device in homey
mi-light led controllers them selves use a different frequency then homey supports, so a direct connection to LED controllers is not possible.
You need the wifi bridge.
You can see the wifi bridge purely as a remote (like the 1 they show in the video thumbnail, the one with yellow buttons) so to add a LED controller you need to couple a zone of 1 of the 4 remote options (single color, dual white, rgb, rgbw) in the wifi bridge to the LED controller.
You can also include the LED controller via homey, by adding the bridge (one of the 4 options) and then send an on signal with any (or all) of the 4 zones you can include, as soon as you power up the LED controller.
