This discussion is started to centralize all Questions, Answers and Information around the (Elro) Home Easy App for 433 MHz sockets ( https://apps.athom.com/app/eu.elro.homeeasy )
Currently supporting most Home Easy-European 433 MHz products sold for some time in the Netherlands with HE (HExxxEU) product numbers.
The sockets and remotes look surprisingly on the older KlikAan-KlikUit sockets but are not compatible in protocol. There even have been two incompatible Home Easy product lines. (EU and UK).
These Home Easy sockets are not much available anymore as most shops in the Netherlands switched to selling KlikAan-KlikUit a couple of years ago and now (2017) sometime's also SmartWares.
Sometimes you can still find these on ebay/marktplaats or other sites (fe conrad nl).
The older sites (HomeEasy .nl /.co.uk) redirect to SmartWares but these are newer and often different products, not always compatible as SmartWares has don a transition to a new protocol.
Not all newer products (version 2) will work with older Version 1 products and vice versa. (don't have more info atm)
**** To be done:
- Find good info about HE v1 vs v2 and SmartWares
- what version is this ?
- Issue's
Known Issues will be posted below.
Be free to ask and discuss anything around these two devices here!
Generic 433MHz issues like a limited receive range, unreliable (one-way) communication disturbance from other 433 devices and a sometimes a hanging RF microcontroller in Homey may affect your experience. See the (to be created Troubleshooting RF 433MHz discussion)
