Fire custom scripts?

Hi All,

I'm about to order a Homey to automate my home. I'm currently working with Domoticz and made some custom scripts to control devices in my home. Most of them are Python. Is there a way to run these on the Homey or run them somewhere else and get them triggered from the Homey?

Thanks in advance.

Dennis

  • You can call them by a http trigger from your Homey, not sure if you can run the scripts itself on your Homey or you can convert them to an app :)

    Great :) Thank you!
  • I've recreated some of the functionality of homey's apps in PHP scripts, reducing the need for these apps
    for example, stocks & cryptocoin

Where maybe some of the scripts could be replaced with flows of course...depending on what you are doing exactly.

Another solutions (other then suggested already) might be to rewrite the scripts in javascript and run them as apps :)
