Sansative Strips alarm
Hello,
from time to time I got an alarm from my Sensative Strips, without an action. This behavior was not regular, so I was just watching it. Now I was able to get the Z-Wave Protokoll. I have this with all the strips now, when they wake up. May be this has something to do with the new Version 1.3.0-rc.7.
Any ideas from the community how to fix this?
Sensor wake up?

My alarm flow system depends on defcon levels. The trigger of a strip just raises the defcon level by 1 point. A motion sensor by 2 . A defcon of 3 is needed for alarm to go of and multiple makes it go to 4 or higher. The 3 and 4 difference is the amount of sirens that go off . 4 also makes all lights go on and turn all locks And keep locked (not working yet on danalock) and all screens go down.
I did even look if I could electrify the door knob on the inside but I decided it might not be that smart because mini me will drink some beer in the near future. But i sooooo much love to make people that touch my stuff in a bad way suffering big time.... so ill think of another way in the near future for the doorknob alternative
As for the doorknob, 240V might be a little overdone How about the "schrikdraad" of "varkensprikker" principle? Although I'm not sure how to implement...

I use the status of the door in combination with my roller shutters. If I'm on vacation an the strips wake up or do not use a door for longer time, the jalousie will stay open, because Homey think the door is open. I have this behaviour on all three strips I have. When I open the door and close it, the status is reported correct in both cases...
I found the following statement:
"Was die Dinger aber wirklich unbrauchbar macht, ist ein Bug in der Firmware (nachgeprüft mit vielen Z-Wave Controllern):
Die Strips wachen zu festgelegten Intervallen (Default 1440 s = 24h) auf um sich am Controller zu melden. Was auch völlig

maybe there is a setting wich makes it less sensitive?
.....
Answer:
There are some other things that can be tried, such as not using binary sensor command class at all, but when I initially worked on the driver, Homey and Strips weren't seeing eye to eye using the notification command class. It's a long time ago however, so who knows, maybe something got fixed...
I'll try to find some time this weekend to make a test version or something, but unfortunately I cannot make any promises.
