Solid Red Ring during boot turns into Rainbow, all data seems gone

Hi all,
Hopefully unrelated to the upgrade to 1.3 rc12 and the 'unauthorized' bug', but my Homey won't boot properly anymore - it goes through the normal orange boot led, then after 3-4 mins it goes solid red.
It will stay red for another minute or so, then it will run the default Rainbow animation and I can log on to the thing. However, all my data is gone! All that remains is 122 notifications, but no more flows, no more devices etc.
I have tried several PTPs as well as a couple of resets, to no avail. I've mailed Athom, who were able to fix the 'unauthorized' issue, but not this boot and/or data loss issue yet.
Has anyone seen this before?
