wil the new media player have radio stations? and i.r range improvements?

someone  knows maybe athom wil anwser

    Probably, through an app I guess.

    Radio stations are very easy to implement from a developer's point of view; it should be as easy as finding the correct URL and entering that.

    IR range improvements is a different story and unrelated to the media player.

    IR and mediaplayer ? I don't see the connection... Radio-stations is something obvious imho... I would like to have radio 1 back...

    Now that Homey Music is in place (Beta), this thread is relevant again! Any volunteers for getting radio stations in Homey Music?

    Radio stations were available in the Vradio app, but it was pulled when Media was removed. I hope the app will be updated and re-released.

    Radiostations?
    I am already casting radiostations for a long time with the Chromecast app to my Sony HT XT3.

    EDIT  a little to enhousiatic...     cant stream it to sonos yet....

    Exactly, that's why we need a special radio app. So everyone can use it. Not only with Sonos but also with Bluetooth speakers.

    Well, lets try to encourage @santor to make his radio app available again, post your support in the issue I created.
    I've looked into it but can't get it to work without the  variables Homey.env.VRADIO_STATIONS_HOST, Homey.env.VRADIO_STATIONS_PATH and Homey.env.VRADIO_ARTWORK_SOURCE. These variables seem to have been set on submission of the app to the appstore but are missing now.

    Should be awesome if they can implement TuneIn so you can have a Remotec zwave scene master activate different radio stations by pressing 1-8 on the pad!

    The Chromecast app already supports radiostations wich could be used in a flow

    Well as said it's a Chromecast app that supports it, so i don't know if Chromecast can stream to Sonos, should work when Sonos uses your TV output? Otherwise a dedicated tunein app needs to be made then it will also work :)
