  • I have bought a set of kaku devices at Aldi , the number on the remote is SN5555 and AA48/16B.
Homey will not connect using any of the examples in the klikaanklikuit app.
Can you add support for these in the app or is there a way to connect to any kaku device by letting Homey recognise the remote signal?
Also my old Philips devices SBC SR 315 are not recognised. Can you also look into that?
  • Is anyone else having problems after the 3.1.0 update today?

some of my devices now take 4-5 tries before they work now...

Everything still works good here. I did need to restart Homey after the KaKu update (no KaKu devices worked before Homey's reboot). Maybe try that if you haven't yet?

Unfortunately some of my devices aren't working at all after the 3.1.0 update.
All my AC-1000 sockets stopped working after the update; the awmr-210 devices don't have any problems.

    already tried the following:
    - a restart of the 433Mhz microcontroller
    - disabled and enabled the Kaku app
    - restarted Homey
    - PTP

Hope there will be a solution for this very soon.

I also rebooted everything, removed and re-added the device, etc.

Mine is the ACD-1000 that giving the problems. I found that if I moved it directly next to Homey, it seemed to work better, but of course that's not the solution... Seems as though the signal is now just useless...

I didn't see any release notes for it, but I see that the GitHub commit comment is:
updated to newest 433 generator vesion

    Hmm...

Please file an issue on Github with what you expereinced and what you did trying to fix it...

  • Yep same problem over here!! I also have problems with my AWMR-230 and ACD-1000

  • I've added my 2 cents to the Github issue as well.

    It's a really strange scenario...

    I have tested 2x ACD-1000, 1x ACD-3500, 1x APA3-1500R, 1x ACD-200.

Only the 1x ACD-1000 is giving me problems, and it's about 1m away from Homey under my stairs.... and it's really weird because it NEVER once gave a problem, never.

    The others all work perfectly,
    ACD-1000 - 4m + 1 floor above Homey
    ACD-3500 - 7m + 1 floor above Homey
    APA3-1500R - 5m from Homey
    ACD-200 - 10cm from Homey

You could try installing the previous version:
    https://github.com/athombv/nl.klikaanklikuit/tree/a8cc3d3b809a140fc09df9a545b27ab588ff08ff
through the CLI to revert to the previous version. Don't forget to uncheck the auto-update...

Fortunately, there is no auto update for CLI installed apps  B)

After a lot of issues yesterday, everything is fine today with the AC-1000 sockets.
Nothing changed after the PTP yesterday evening.
