Somfy or Klikaanklikuit to control sunscreen

Hi,

I have ordered a new sunscreen with a ASA motor. The motor is wired and will be connected to 230v power. Now I can connect a Somy reciever or a klikaanklikuit module to control the sunscreen with a remote and of course with Homey. Which one is recommended with Homey?

For what it's worth, I use a sunscreen with the Somfy RTS unit in combination with Homey, it works perfectly for me.

    Same here
  • Somfy RTS here as well, I really love it. It is one of the most stable apps on Homey if you ask me. I have once had to repair since the start of Homey. After this winter (where I don't use the sunscreens at all) I was wondering if it'd still work from Homey... and guess what, it did :)
  • I have no experience with RTS, but looking at the price it seems quite steep.

For all my screen I use Fibaro Roller Shutter 2 (FGR-222) modules. They look comparable with the specified asun switch, but then on Z-wave which I prefer major...

    Buy them on amazon:

I have everything connected with the Klik aan Klik uit Modules (ASUN (name of switch)). Never had any problems with them. Easy connecting. Always working. Homey is placed in the livingroom ( in the front of the house). Bedroomscreens on the back of the house work without any problems.
  • Thanks all! I have bought the Asun-650 KlikaanKlikuit module. I have tested it with 2 lamps connected. It works very smooth with Homey. Now waiting 2 weeks for the sunscreen.

  • I used the KiKu ASUN module. It works good.
But i replaced the module for the Fibaro FGR-222 and thats working better.
The different is that the Fibaro module give a status and you can set the screen to 90% closed or something like that.
