Aeotec Energie Meter - 1 klem - 60A

Anyone experience with this device? I would like to use it remotely to check different devices withing the house. Originally it's designed to measure the incoming power cable. Would it work with Homey?

  • @MariusBrand no experience with this devices.
Briefly checked the Aeotec app, this device is currently not supported.

From what I read out of the manual, it uses the same COMMAND_CLASSES as the other Aeotec Z-wave devices use to report power readings, so it should be possible to add the device (driver) to the Aeotec app and monitor the power values (W, kWh, A etc) for both clamps.

That would be nice, how do I make this request?

The Aeotec app is moderated by Athom and supported by a number of community developers.
I would create an Github issue on https://github.com/athombv/com.aeotec/issues with the request to add support for this device. Aeotec does have some different Z-wave implementations, it might be difficult to build and validate the driver without the device...
  • Done, thanks.
