need urgent (zwave) help, old controler crashed and now i cannot add the old zwave devices to homey

Today my pld zwave controler (vera edge) crashed and it is bricked, it simply does not respond anymore (no ssh, no interface, nothing..), does not even respond to the reset button.

I now have to add all my zwave devices to homey, but.....
I cannot include them at all, it seems they are still assoiciated to the vera unit and excluding on the devices is not possible..

How can i exclude the device from the vera unit an include them in homey?

I tried nog 4 difference modules and brands and none of them can be paired to homey.
A new module (which was allready excluded) paired without any problem.

I am using here several:
- popp dimmers
- everspring sp103 sensors
- aenonlabs 4in1 sensors
- everspring an158-2 switches
- e-domotica siwtches and dimmers

At the moment i have a complete home which cannot be controlled anymore, i hoped to quicked pair them to homey to get the basic lighting up and running but i simply cannot include anything because all the units are still paired to the defected vera unit.

Anyone has an idea how to do this?!

(in the manual of several brands it only mention how you have to start exclution mode and then refers to the controler to exclude them)

  • You can exclude devices in Settings->Z-wave (doesn't matter if they are in homey's network or not)
  • thx, did not know this..
  • if read manual or google how to reset your devices per manufacture
