DomiTech Light bulb

Anyone got the Domitech light bulbs working with homey?

I have got it added as a default zwave device, but now i am missing the dim level functionality.

Anyone planning to make a app for these devices ?

I found some xml info here:

  • I have a domitech lightbulb also, an app or another way to set the dimlevel would be great !
  • i have several domitech bulbs here, and you don't need an app
just put zwave in leermodes and if it is not working straight away read the manual for clearing the
    memory of the bulb
if you dont have the manual let me know,i have it here

It works as a default z-wave device, but then you can't use the dimlevel functionality (right?)

Or do you got this working without an app?

Thats how I use it now, but currently I'm not able to set the dimlevel. Did you somehow get the dimlevel working without an app?

I also can't do anything to adjust dimlevel.
  • Anyone got this light bulb and knows how to make an app ?

By default on and off works, also in flows.
    Only the dim-level is missing.

  • Too bad that for every brand we are depending on community to make it work with Homey.
  • Any progress on anyone making an app for this?
  • I also have a few Domitech bulbs, would be nice if there is an app for it  :)
  • Hi,

I just finished the app to make Domitech led lamps fully compatible with Homey (including dimming)
I'll keep you posted; the app is now in the process of being approved by Athom.

    Url to the GIT: https://github.com/timkouters/nl.timkouters.domitech

    Kind regards,
    Tim

  • Hi @timkouters,

You are awsome!  ;) I installed and tried the app, the first results look promising.

Thanks, looking forward to seeing it in the appstore!
  • It's accepted and released

I'll see whether I can add some triggers in the weekend.
    Kind regards,
    Tim

  • Thanks @timkouters for the app, works perfect, triggers wil be nice :)

What type of trigger would you all like to have?
     - Dimming-'heartbeat' from/to dim-value
     - Dimming value changed
     - Lamp turned on
     - Lamp turned off

    Hi.
Could you make an adjustment to the polling interval? Five seconds is really harsh on a large z-wave network.
As far as I can remember 100+ seconds is recommended for even small networks. On my fibaro it was using a queue way above five minutes.

If you could unlock the polling-inputfield I would be very happy.

    Thank you.
