  • Hello,

Someone has already made a NodeJs module for the Nuimo. This should save you some work in developing a Homey app for Nuimo.

  • Cool! Hopefully it will work on homey
  • @nklerk Are you still using the senic? Does it work well with Homey?
  • No I stopped using it. Maybe I'll pick it up again when the homey BT driver is fully working. For now I use my spare time to play with my NEEO remote.

So you would not recommend buying it?

i am backer of nuimo, it's only nice looking overpriced paperweight.
  • It is a very nice toy. But It lacked proper out of the box support and now I'm not so sure what to do with it. I was planning to make an app for it, but for now I invest my time in my remote as it will be the main interface to all devices in our home.

Should you revisit this I would be most interested.  I have two Nuimo devices and I use them a lot as a volume control with Sonos.  In that respect they are really useful.  They are beautifully engineered but way overpriced and have somewhat  limited functionality at the moment.

Scenic have also announced have their own HA 'hub' to allow direct connection of the Nuimo .. and then I assume onto Ethernet and more scope for device control.

Are you still pleased with your NEEO ?
